Blake was my boss’s boss at Smith and Nephew. He was AMAZING and told me something that I’ll carry forever. He said: when your job no longer brings you joy, it’s best to leave it and prevent making yourself and those around you bitter. He wasn’t talking about me, I had just started working there. But after a few years, that job did not bring me joy so I followed his advice. I’m now in nursing school pursuing my actually dream. I thank Blake for being kind, warm and just an all around joy to be around. I just learned about his passing and I am extremely saddened, my thoughts are with his family. He was definitely a warm light on this earth ❤. RIP Blake ❤
