@gifthorse3675

I don’t want to pay laquisha to have a 15th baby.

@mr.anderson4755

How about we fix the marriage/divorce laws and do something about the corrupt family court system? Or do something about the unaffordable housing market. We cant keep running around the core issue and throw money at the problem and think it'll fix itself.

@sundager8735

Let’s be honest here, a big problem is there’s a lot of women out there that want to be party girls until they hit 30 but they’re on a time clock, and guys are having a hard time finding decent women

@VyxelOP

It's not about quantity, it's about quality.

@you1027

People will abuse any fiscal incentive, period.

@jimmymoore1982

No, this is insane, this is partly why nobody had kids now. How tf are you supposed to get to the place where you feel able to have kids if you're paying for everyone else's

@robdebone

That's bullshit required in marriage. I shouldn't be punished because my kid's mom turned out to be a fucking psychopath who's ruined my life basically lol

@nickhansen7301

The kind of persons who would get born because their mother thought she needed some fast money, are the ones who end up in prison and cost society a lot of money.

@HistoryandHeadlines

Do single people get any kind of bonuses?

@jayburris6252

How about the government just TAX LESS!!!!! Encouraging parenting isn’t always a good idea. Lots of people shouldn’t have kids.

@columbusohio299

Tax free and free hospital bills for child. If u make it an incenitive that is cash based u will have women with 8 kids on welfare

@editorjeannie2318

It is a terrible idea to pay people to have kids.

@batmanjokeslmao

That's a terrible take from Matt.

@scottywhite7681

Take care of ppl that work for their fuckin money, how bout that. Not fuckin camera keyboard and mouse work either

@xitheris1758

No. Add the incomes of people's descendants as a factor in calculating social security retirement benefits.

We reward childlessness, at the expense of those whose children are paying for those rewards. The more kids you have, the less time you have to make money. If you choose your kids over money, then you get screwed over.

In other words, the more you contribute to the future tax base, the more you get screwed over.

My grandparents had six children, and they put everything into their kids. Now, their children are all highly productive citizens, yet because they chose to forego materialism for the sake of family, their income was low, and as retirees, they basically get nothing from social security.

Meanwhile, childless Boomers had all the time in the world to make far higher incomes, and they're living it up in their retirement — telling everyone that having no kids makes your life better in the end.

Because of the way the system is set up, they're correct.

Why do we transfer the sacrifices of my grandparents, in the form of their children's incomes, to those who didn't contribute to the future of the tax base?

Before public pensions, your children and community were your retirement plan. We need to un–disincentivize these avenues of societal investment.

@daviddavis2658

F U to the increasing taxes on single people. That's insane.

@1Mhoram9

If MARRIED and STAY MARRIED until all the children are at least twenty three years old.

@robertkocourek600

Nope! If a couple, such as myself and the wife only had one child and couldn't have anymore due to a fertility issue, you are taxing someone based on a disability. If that's the case, everyone at a store that parks in a handicapped spot should pay extra sales tax. Bad idea Tim.

@ericmassey5532

Duck all this. As a single, i am tired of paying for other people to be parents already. Why do i get screwed for NOT being irresponsible????!!!!

@sandram.d.6164

That plan sounds a little twisted to me.
