I am from Pakistan living in Karachi, I have short history of Empress market (Empress Market was constructed between 1884 and 1889 when it was one of only seven markets in Karachi and the largest with a space to accommodate 280 shops. The plaza was named in honor of Queen Victoria, who at that time was the Empress of India.)
I am an Indian who had the opportunity to visit Karachi two years ago. Pakistan is a beautiful country, and I found the people there to be incredibly friendly and warm. I have a desire to return, particularly to explore Lahore, Islamabad, and Mari, among other places. My experience I had in Karachi was truly enjoyable. I share the hope that relations between India and Pakistan will improve in the near future.
I am from Iraq and I hope one day to visit Pakistan because I love the Pakistani people and watch Pakistani serials
FINALLY! What we've all been waiting for ❤ The best storyteller has arrived, super excited for this series 👀
12:05 proud moment for us Pakistanis :) I hope you will visit Pakistan again soon !
I'll be following your Pakistan trip. My wife and I had a wonderful trip in January of this year. We never saw any other westerners on our whole trip except at a rooftop restaurant in Lahore and also at Wagha Border. The temps were not nearly as hot as you are experiencing. Pakistani culture is the Best!!
Doug - your channel is the best. No wonder people love you wherever you go. Thank you for making this and God bless,
It's monsoon season in Pakistan, which is very hot and humid without rains, If someone ask me which time is better to visit Pakistan, I definitely suggest that March and April is the best. Anyway welcome in Pakistan and have a wonderful time. 💕
Hey Bro, Thanks for visiting Karachi and welcome to Pakistan!. Pakistanis are extremely hospitable to foreigners and with exception of few, they do love Americans and would love lot more especially if someone can speak some Urdu and say Salaam, thank you etc, which you have been already doing fantastically!. (You are pretty good when meeting and greeting people and public/people seems to love you as well). Just a suggestion that If you want to go viral, you need to mention your channel to them and ask everybody there to watch and subscribe your channel as well. (ask/do it right there especially if they are carrying a phone) (Btw, old man at the market was telling that anyone who is beautiful or handsome, he loves them) Empress market was originally just a flat parade ground in front of British army’s barracks. In 1857 after rebellion against British government, ground was used for executing locals/mutineers. Market was later constructed during 1884-1889 over same parade ground. It was originally constructed as market only. Please try not to drink city’s poor quality water. Always drink/carry bottled water with you if you dont want to get sick. Stay safe and enjoy your trip!.
As an African from Kenya working in Bahrain I wanna appreciate Pakistani for the good culture they have for Humanity. The spirit of giving and sharing whatever they have with other people. A Pakistani will teach the world that we are all Human no need of hate or unnecessary fights.
I am from India, I wish to visit all the places of Pakistan especially Lahore and Karachi. One day my dream will come true.
Love how respectful you are and saying salam and ji. Glad you got to visit the kindest country in the world ❤❤
Wow that was super generous. In a country like Singapore, some restaurants will even charge you for water. And if you do a takeaway, they charge you extra 20cents for the disposal boxes. Crazy!
Thanks Mr. Doug I just see this city KARACHI with your eyes. I am an Indian from West Bengal state, well you were moving at Clifton area and some markets and a large ground where playing some people cricket. You also met with some street vendors etc. This is very nice sub continent wherever you go you will get some help but some of us not do good behave, they doesn't want to help of good people, they always crazy. However our city Kolkata ( City of Joy ) also like this, people are moving around for work. Lastly I would like to say that I am very grateful to you for your beautiful KARACHI CITY ( Previous Capital of PAKISTAN ) video and want to see more travel vedio like this. Thanks.
That guy said that he loves beautiful people. He's referring to you. Nice and entertaining vlog. I am a Pakistani in USA. Pakistan Zindabad!
This was a nice thing to watch, my son is travelling to Karachi for a wedding this summer and I’ve been fretting about it because of security concerns. It’s soothing to my nerves to watch how you move around and how lovely the people generally are. Thanks from a less worried mum
What is the guy doing at 13:04?
