I grew up in a broken home with a lot of abuse. As a parent, I am still fighting my childhood trauma. I stumbled across this song yesterday and first time I hit the floor and cried out to God! Please don’t stop making music!!

I relate to this song with tears in My eyes. My Dad just up and left My Mom the day I was born 56 years ago. He never was around when needed or wanted. I vagely remember him when I was a todler but when I did meet him at 19 it was not great, I went to his house for a week and out of that week I actually saw him three times. I would wake up to a 20 dollar bill layin on the coffee table and a note sayin go to 7/11 and get what you want, I will be back later at the bar if ya need me. 2 years later I ended up in trouble with the law and spent 15 years in prison. 1 year after I went to prison He passed away leaving nothing but in return I felt No Loss No Remorse. Like 2Pac said [ I Couldnt Feel For A Stranger] and that is My fault Hell Nah. I find myself thinkin a lot of My past and sometimes think I am A Full Time Loser, But I lived My life the best I could and can and with that I push to overcome the Negative with the positive and some how with the Grace of The Almighty Upstairs I find My answers. I strive for the right direction. I listen To Jesse Howard and Nu Breed Every Single Day and I strongly beleive in My Heart that You answer a lot of My prayers too. The positive that You put out in Your Music along with Yaboi Dirty and Ol Dirt Road ODR makes sence in every positive way!!!!!! I Am Not Letting Life Control Me I Am Controling Life With Your Positive Words!!!!! Thank You And Merry Christmas To All!!!! YEP I SAID IT MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Jesse “Golden Voice” Howard has nailed it again. The emotions that he is capable of conveying is unbelievable. This song gave me goosebumps. And had me in tears. Jesse’s voice is a true gift that’s a fact of which everyone is aware. But the ability to make you FEEL the music, the lyrics, that is awe inspiring. And I know it’s not only years of practice and hard work. It’s something that can’t be taught. It can’t be learned. It’s part of your soul. It’s either there or it isn’t. Some manage to passingly fake it with the right song. But Jesse is NOT faking anything!!! I believe he feels this song as much as he makes us FEEL it. That, I believe, is part of the “IT FACTOR”!!! This had me in tears, I'm a single mom of 3. My daughter is 7 and her dad and love of my life is addicted to meth, alcohol, and gambling. He sent the song to me. My heart has ripped open. This is an amazing song and a story that seems to be common. Thank you.
