One of the biggest problems that brought us here is tribalism. It’s a virus — a destructive force that pushed Somalia to the edge. Whether we realize it or not, tribalism was fueled by those who never wanted to see Somalia rise again. Sadly, many of us fell into that trap, and we’re still struggling to climb out of the hole. To heal and move forward, we need to reconnect with our history. Our past holds the key to our recovery and strength. Your friend expression was misleading. mogadusho's 4 old districts existed thousands of years but expanded after the 1960s of urbanisation outward as population increased. It is one of the oldest cities in the world. The monument seen was an unknown soldier, not civil war it was before, meant for good causes heroes fallen 1977 with the 64 war, darwish war war 20 century resistances all that.
