@MissBunny01

So happy she got justice for herself, her parents, and the other trafficked child. She's so brave for that.

@styxjunkii

Oh my god. “NuNu, They’re dead.” I immediately felt choked up and the “Where is my camel?” Shattered me. This case is so heartbreaking it had so many victims.

@K1tC4t_94

Nunu was incredibly lucky to have ended up with an "adoptive" father who tried to protect her. The fact he's still part of her life is a testament to how well he cared for her with the best of his abilities. My heart breaks for Nunu's sister. She was left to deal with the traumatic aftermath of everything. I'm glad they were reunited.

@billieyelash

I’m Chinese so I was able to watch some of her interviews, she’s super intelligent despite not able to receive higher education. I was surprised she speaks more impactful than many with higher education level. Also she is very lucky, many of these young girls who were abducted, were “bought” by some old creeps in the village and give birth to 8 kids when they grow up….just tragic

@mayakovske

Kidnapping and selling children is already evil, but the way my jaw dropped when I heard her own son was the first victim

@thatsacutecat

Hearing how her dad would cry out ”but where is my camel” was one of the most heartbreaking things i ever heard. That monster took away his daughter from him, her mother and they stole this family a good life and nui nui and her sister a good childhood.

@ToriOfTheNile

Mr. Lee not cooperating with his mother and not participating in the abuse of Nunu is truly a silver lining in this extremely heartbreaking case. An already vulnerable and handicapped man saw a child that was clearly much more vulnerable than him, and he decided to protect her as best he could. Who knows where Nunu would have been otherwise, considering how clearly desperate and wicked his mother and the traffickers were

@jijibunny198

For some reason her husband saying that if he had known about her past a day earlier. He would have married her a day earlier really made me choke up. Thank God she found someone who actually seems to love her.

@SamiLo2

Despite her losing her parents and being separated from her family and even the struggles and ptsd, her story was probably the best case scenario. She got a loving adoptive father out of the situation, found a loving husband, had kids of her own, and got justice. Just ashame her parents didn’t survive to see her as an adult

@badinkyz

Oh my gosh. “Nunu, They’re dead.” I immediately felt choked up and the “Where is my camel?” Shattered me. This case is so heartbreaking, it had so many poor victims 💔

@TheIncredibleBugMan

"but where is my camel?" is so soul-breaking. crushing. I think most have a memory like that with family, something that seems like just a silly or random promise, but is a dear memory regardless and you are determined to make it a reality..so sad for Nunu that she wasn't able to do that one thing for her father

@HeisenbergFam

The fact some people are so evil they have no guilt selling 5 year olds to trafficking is insane

@Nellie-g3r

I'm so glad she found a beautiful husband and has been able to help so many people.

@catiegoldring6646

Her story is so powerful. The fact that the warrant for the devil "neighbor" was on Father's Day made me sob so hard. I think her parents would've been so proud of her and all the hard work she did to get justice not only that but that she married someone that loves her no matter what and she was able to have children live a happy life after all of that and she was able to reunite with her sister and the people from her village.

@chleorrrrnorrrrr2915

“I would have married her a day earlier” my heart 😭😭😭😭🥺how wonderful it is that she’s finally been able to have what she’s always deserved.

@wenerjy

For context, if they were Miao (an ethnic minority), then the one-child policy didn't apply to them, minorities were exempt.

@mariana5011

I find it endearing that her "adoptive father" (a disabled man who couldn't do much about the situation I presume) is still in her life. He wasn't a bad guy, and thank god it wasn't a child bride situation! The money he had saved up to marry and build a life for him was used to buy a future caretaker because of his mother's generation bullshit (and probably chinese society's views on PWD), so the fact he didn't resent the girl and recognized her at a victim of this situation is really nice.

@hibari4079

When I heard that the dad said "where's my camel, I was promised a camel", that hurt so deeply. I teared up at that.

@tobymochi2561

I’ve been crying for the past ten minutes since the camel bit. That part was genuinely so heart breaking, seeing parents who have genuine love for their kids going through that kind of grief will always get me.

@DMatey-yc5wj

Not me sobbing through this entire video. Stephanie can tell someone’s story like no one else! You move me to tears girl. You and your hubby are by far my favorite. Keep up the amazing work!
