I think you went around this sponsorship video in the wrong way. Instead of making a video trying to make Wix look better by unfairly dissing the competition, you could've made a redesign video in your usual fashion but using Wix and making it a big reveal at the end or something.
The sponsorship takes away from the premice of the video. You're constantly questioning yourself while watching the video about the authenticity of choice of tests instead of focusing on the video itself.
The way you narrate this seems to heavily favor Wix Studio...
When I heard: "And Wix Studio, which is the sponsor of this video". I already knew what time it was..
Not bad to take advertising but this comes as slightly dishonest by the way is its presented. A video just showing what your sponsor can do without doing a half baked comparison would be so much better
"no-code platform" starts coding anyway
I feel like this can be a good learning experience because Jux's videos are always super detailed and informative, and they gotta get paid but the feedback in the comments are helpful to see the ad didn't work. I, too, felt like the comparison was disingenuous and not really a comparison. Like even the project felt set up to favor Wix's strengths (like an ad is supposed to). Jux, I hope you get lots more sponsors going forward, but I also hope the approach you take is one which fits better with your community.
Thanks for the comparison! I’ll be using Framer from now on.
All I (and everyone else) wants is a free, open-source low or no code platform that generates raw html, css and js files that I can host statically.
I really love your videos. I truly do. But when you make a comparison video of three different no-code platforms, I think you should make sure you're not biased and that's hard, when one of the platforms paid you to do the video.
can we talk about the fact that in this showcase framer is the only one to have real progressive blur
I've found that once you can actually code all these tools do is get in your way.
I would prefer you to compare coding a website manually vs using wix, or making a website redesign and then creating it in wix. Keep up the great work!
Also it kinda defeats the purpose of comparing different style of no-code-builders and then portraying webflow as some kind of antiquated not working as well product. You have way more control over everything in webflow, while the UI might be more challenging to udnerstand, it forces you to think in terms of HTML, CSS and I would have never made the jump of being able to code my fully own custom websites, if it weren't for webflow
I'm impressed how much content and information you managed to fit in 10 minutes.
Despite agreeing with others about sponsored videos not being comparison videos, I do still appreciate the effort you put into the video itself and how you were still able to show us some basic features of each program
Impressive, very nice, let's see web page performance test
2:39 I love making my phone mew 🤫
would be curious to hear your unbiased opinion on low-code/no-code vs coding. or better yet, designing no-code tools to edit design aspect of a website, or at least design aspects of single posts. Like in a rich text editor
