Etiquette should been hosted by tony g and phil, the two pillars of Etiquette
Very nice job explaining the fundamentals of Poker. This is perfect for new players.
Very useful. Still have not summoned up the gumption to play live . . . but learned a few things i didn't know I didn't know! Thanks, James.
One of the best vids from PS I have watched lately. There are a few players I know; need to watch this one.
Tip the dealer on a win. Not a rule, but really expected. First time playing a casino (no idea what I was doing IN A CASINO) I sat down at a cash game, I won a nice pot first cards dealt to me. No tip for the dealer because I didn't know. Win a hand, tip the dealer. Dealer says to me, quite flippantly "welcome to the table." Next hand, someone else wins and tips the dealer a buck, and I realize my mistake and quietly slide him a chip. Feel like that piece of etiquette is not perfectly obvious to newbies sitting down at the table for the first time.
I knew I know how to play Hold'em, but now I see there are some rules I didn't know. Good video.
6:50 in private play with friend we usually announce our raise like that to tell opponent exactly number how much to call, especially when someone all-in
I like these new videos, lots of new players need to watch this
This was great. I really want to play live and have been so intimidated by it. This help as it's easy to play online lol.
Realy thought I know the most :D I apperantly have not even a clue. Thanks for the video :D
Oh, how i needed to see this vid several years back.😅
The camera work and video quality are really good
I wish things could open up sooner, I played my first live tournament at a local casino and it was honestly pretty fun. I think I got 11th out of 35 people
Where can I get those cards used in the video?
If I close my eyes... I can imagine John Oliver giving me these rules. Your voice, accent and cadence is remarkably close to his.
Rule #1: Can't be all loosey goosey
Beautifully explained 😍
Players are real sticklers about these etiquette rules. I played live cash game once and I was called out for slow rolling a player when really I was just trying to read their hand before I made the decision to show or much my hand. Since I’m still learning I was just slow at figuring out their hand and I got screamed at for slow rolling them. For now I have just made a rule for myself to always show my hand until I get better and faster and reading the cards
Am learning thanks
