@sarahpan

thank you everyone for being so patient & kind with me despite not being active on this channel for the last month 🄺 i've been going through all the ups & downs of life & I hope that this video gives me an opportunity to share some of what this last month has been for me ā¤ as always, I hope you guys are doing well ~~

@nattelluh

When I finally understood that big corporations, at the end of the day, don’t really care about you as an employee and if push comes to shove they can replace you in a heartbeat, I learned to not care too much about work and to put myself first. Someone can always pick your work up because there’s always going to be work. I used to take my laptop home on weekends and stay more than 8 hours a day, but for what? Being tired at home, not investing in myself, etc, only to repeat the next day and always living for the weekends. Being dedicated to work is great for people whose life is work, but otherwise it’s stress inducing and a constant feeling of not doing enough or being enough. The new mindset took the pressure off.

@PurpIeCiCi

Also a Googler that recently took leave. Was shocked by how busy I felt even without the 8 hours of work during leave. Rooting for you and hope we find our direction :)

@DBlaze99

The ONLY lifestyle and career vlog I follow on any platform.
Happy to see you’re taking care of yourself, and happy you’re back!

I've gone through this type of burnout too. Take all the time you need. I took 2 weeks and realized that I wasn't better at all, and it was a little bit more serious than I originally thought.

I love that you're always so real, and you don't try to come off as being perfect. Hope things get better for you. Maybe you guys should plan a getaway to clear your mind.

@WesleyAnna

You're doing SO much and you should be proud. Sometimes you have to go slow in order to go fast and that's okay!

@Sakurambo

Burnout is so difficult. I remember I had to take leave and even after two weeks I felt horrible - it was really at the 1 month mark I started to be able to relax a little and detach from work. The anxiety coming back was hard too. I hope you continue to take care of yourself šŸ’› sending you love

@zhangwenying0927

Welcome back Sarah! ā¤ you are my fav ā€œadulthood comfortā€ YouTuber because we are in the same age and everything you do I found so relatable and echoing (also repping DMV) - all your podcasts are amazing and definitely so good to hear someone our age to talking about our struggles at 20s . WLB is so hard especially with your extra content creation and everything we are so proud of youā¤ make sure you take breaks and do stuff that can help relieve ur work fatigue!! Also get more tattoos (jokingly but seriously)

@cerievans1980

So glad you have taken some time for yourself. IVF can be hard on your body, it is a lot to go through. Physical and mentally. Wishing you the best of luck on your IVF journey. Xx

@hannafromatlanta

welcome back sarah! happy you got to rest and recharge for a few weeks, sometimes it's hard to put ourselves first in our 20s, but it's super important especially when working a 9-5! Keep being you and take all the time you need to recuperate, u come first - don't forget that šŸ’™

@iammarccolomayt82094

Welcome back Sarah & love your cozy ā€œtaking a breakā€ lifestyle vlog, I’m always here to support youā¤

@subtleamytraits

I felt the need to say this in case you need a reminder for how amazing you are! you are the most authentic and thoughtful Youtuber I watch, and I love everything you produce - from your podcasts to your vlogs. That being said - please take all the time you need to recuperate :) we will still love you no matter what <3 (also you've inspired me to start making my own YT vids as a woman in tech)

@BeBlessed70

Welcome back! It's so important to take time off and thanks for sharing this with us. Much needed reminder. And good to see time away at the Coney Island beach.
