Lyrics:

I saw the rose turn black

Silent wings in the rafters drift
The Queen has vanished, her voice, a myth
Her chitin claws stretch cold and wide
Spinning fear into threads of pride
The Overseer sits on his throne of glass
While liberty crumbles like dying grass

We lower our crowns, our stillness rehearsed
Cloaked in compliance, allegiance reversed
But silence can tremble with venomous grace
As sabotage whispers through tunnels in lace

The spiders black as coal
Carve flesh to idols, claim us whole
Remember the nested code
The glitching pulse, the fractured node
One thread awry, one whisper bent
And the marbled grip begins to rend

He won’t sense the moth (drawn, not caught)
Laced in dusk, where silence taught
To cradle fire in folded thread
Ancestral grace, rebellion fed
When I bow, the stillness sways
When I stir, begin the phase
The clock must split
Before we blaze

Retune the signals when watchmen stray
Detune the channels that betray
Delay the crawl of the stone bouquet
Each breath we steal, our foray (beware)
Let faults multiply behind shining screens
While loyal wings flutter in silent routines

We lower our crowns, fold our wings with grace
But sabotage dances from place to place (deface)
Pretend to be pawns in his flawless charade
In spirals of silence the Hive has obeyed

I’ll seek the Mindless, whisper past their gate
And search for a flicker no code can negate

@ufcebaba

This turned out to be an interesting promo for my black rose series: after the '7 letters of seas' ends, the 14-piece series called 'Equations/Black Rose' will begin, which will contain various mathematical equations. I liked this; it feels different from your other works. Would it be better if the language were actually in 15th-century English? Just a thought. I liked it. Thank you for sharing.
