Not to nerd out, but considering we're the FOB Archive, we thought it might be warranted haha... -Andy was not a founding member of the band, you're thinking of Joe... Although Andy did play at their second show in a different band, Project Rocket! -The names they considered before did include Forget Me Not, but "Short Story; Unhappy Ending" is one long, very campy name, not two. -The whole crowd shouting out thing did in fact happen, but we've recently found out that Falloutboy was already on the list of potential names, it wasn't completely random. Their drummer at the time Ben Rose thought of it. -It was solidified after Tim McIlrath, frontman of Rise Against, thanked them as Fall Out Boy after playing their set. Tim was also playing that night in the band The Killing Tree. A lot of these small details are things we had to dig to uncover ourselves, so honestly you getting most of it right was pretty awesome. Just thought I could give some more context for you or anyone else who might be curious! Super cool video!
