One should ask this question to oneself. Examine your own tendencies and qualities from your childhood and observe where you acquired them from? Did you come with them or they were introduced to you in this life? Why your parents tell you that you were so diffetent from your sibling right from early chilhood. Please investigate yourself and you may find the answer. Very good video. Swamiji said everything without saying much and pointed the direction what an individual needs to do.
Thank you মহারাজ। আপনি আমাদের সব্বার কাছে 'Monk with the lamp'.
😅 "It seems a bit too much." Even physics states that energy is never just gone, it just transforms. Nothing is ever born or dies. It's unborn, unceasing, interdependent arisings appearing like a rainbow in the sky. Even with non sentient phenomena we can observe this. There's no trap door opening to nothingness, when the body ceases to function. It's actually just logical that the conciousness energy transforms into something new. Like to add: Why do children come with their own specific character? Every parent knows, that children already have their patterns, core character, talents etc. It's just so obvious. Where would this come from? From nothing? Thank you so much Swamiji for all your talks and teachings. May you live long and may your lineage never cease. May all your aspriations be fulfilled. May all sentient beings attain enlightenment. 🙏
I've studied reincarnation as part of Eastern mysticism for a little over 50 years; and I began studying the Western research when I started work on my documentary, "In Another Life: Reincarnation in America" in 1997. I was able to verify a past life of my own as an obscure 19th-century writer named Mathew Franklin Whittier. Regarding this interview and the statement that "science denies reincarnation," I would make the distinction that it is science ("Scientism") hijacked by materialism which denies reincarnation. Truly objective science, like the work of Dr. Ian Stevenson, doesn't, as Swami mentions later in the interview. Very clear reasoning, good explanation. I like that he refers to the "so-called hard problem of consciousness." It's not a hard problem at all, if one's deep assumptions are set right.
Great interview ❤
There are so many cases where small children talk of their past lives. Many years ago, it was shown by BBC, and I saw in TV, such a case. A person repeatedly proclaimed that there is a castle underneath a vast barren land. Approached many officials. Finally researchers started digging the area, as per his instructions. It took two years and we were shown step by step. ...He was a soldier guarding the castle on a heighted rock. Enemy at night, from down, thrown a sphere and he died. Scientists finally said, we have no proof to establish rebirth, but for sure, only a person lived here only can say so accurately...
Excellent logic, which appears infallible.
One is reborn with desire ...the desire to have a body to enjoy and experience life yet after many birth one becomes dissatisfied and seeks higher forms of happiness through spiritual experiences.
Neither the doctrine of a single birth can satisfactorily explain the life of the soul with its unborn temperament and idiosyncrasies
In words of Bhagawad gita Even as a man casts off worn out clothes and puts on others that are new so does the embodied being cast off worn out bodies and enter in to others that are new
I discovered to have outstanding analogies with a man who lived centuries ago. There is a very strong link, but I do not remember anything of his life. There is no way to prove reincarnation. Additionally the mind is dead after the body dies because the memory is lost, the thoughts cannot be done when neurons are dead and sensations are impossible as well.. Mind can survive just for a little time after body's death.
It is said that god has the power to change our destiny. Can you make a detailed video on what is power of Manifestation and how people in ancient India used to apply it to manifest anything which is not written in our destiny.
The very fact that we are asking this question , should wake you up. Everything else is just concepts.
One you tube channel tu ek suchha tera nam sachha introduces reincarnated kids. Req you to see "tu ek sachha tera nam sachha.
All his interviews are this short ? Is there a longer version ?

My dear, I have a suggestion to you. Kindly respect the elders, saints and jnanis. Pl watch your posture. Is it not irrespectable.
Until one realise n know about this truth it seem very interesting....but once you know that you were born as different persons in different times, only some common traits carries on,then first the feelings are fascinating.then on enquiry and observation one realisation comes why? And then this reasoning pervaids the mind to escape this cycle of birth n death ...we HV to reach one point of non desiring....and hence comes the surrender....let it be.let be my role be this or that...but it is just a role to play... Though it is easier to say than to practice...still one point to notice...that you start to like vedantic lectures...😂
