I'm not a furry, but Ethan definitely gives big ferret energy.
"you look uh.. really familiar" Ethan: "NO"
the sad greyscale head-down walk at 22:35 is way funnier when you know he's literally just tilting his head so that he can see the stairs lmao
If I had a nickel for every time a YouTuber had an existential crisis in a rain forest cafe, I’d have three nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened three times.
The sex toy ad in the opening of the video about a furry convention is a bold move to make Ethan.
I was way too long into that sponsor without realizing it wasn't a part of the video
27:33 i love how in every video it is in the rain forest café it is depicted as an antagonist
The lobster guy genuinely talking about ocean conservation warmed my heart a bit
32:33 When he said "So, there is only one thing left to do" I for sure thought he was gonna reveal his new fursuit lol
If I could be so fr right now, as an autistic person, furries and furry culture/content always makes me so happy. It's the idea of being social with others without having masking. You'd think the fursona is a facade but it's an outward expression of someone's personality. Not in that someone believes they are an animal but that they are able to have fun and be whimsical or childish without being infantalized or criticised. Edit: DUDE I didn't know james had multiple suits
I was way too invested in the sponsor storyline that I forgot I was watching a furry con video
OMG I WAS THE GODZILLA, THANK YOU ETHAN YOU ARE AMAZINGGGGG, it was nice speaking with you!!!
ethan wore his tail upside down almost the whole time and no one stopped him edit: oops she blew up- i sell tails at cons, and 75% of people who buy their first tails put it on upsidedown. it's like a furry right of passage
Now that you attended your first furry con and reported it, the government will soon deliver your designated Fursona validation card in the mail.
Honestly, Ethan's existential crisis about finding "the right fursona" is very relatable, having been apart from the fandom for some time and trying to get back into it. Feeling like you don't quite fit anymore, that you're not sure who you are anymore, can feel overwhelming and disheartening. It really is a journey of finding one's own self. Loved the vid!
Seeing James in a suit I’ve NEVER seen before, it was like an Easter egg, it’s cool he’s been acquiring new suits but also was whiplash seeing him LMAO
thank you so so much for coming to the con, ethan ! i had the opportunity to talk to you a handful of times while suiting and your respect and understanding means the world to our community. i’m so glad you enjoyed yourself and you’re always welcome back (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*: ・゚ (btw other socalfurs pls be my friend, my user is the same on everything ^_^)
Ethan is very ferret, wiggly, bouncy, happy, the tan and black color pallettes, thoughtful, mischievous
I love this. It's honestly far better than ANY other furry documentary I've ever seen. And you're so right about fursonas; they're no requirement of being in the fandom.
