So many principal dancers in the Royal Ballet are so short that it’s a breath of fresh air to see one with LEGS, lol! Steven McRae dances so gorgeously that he makes me forget that he’s short, and there are 1 or 2 danseurs who appear to be close to Muntagirov, but the women…..short and excruciatingly skinny, except for Nuñez who looks as a woman should and like McRae, and can fool me because her legs are long for her height. Muntagirov’s dancing is so sublime in whatever he dances! I watched the video of Anthony Dowell teaching him the choreography for “Dance of the Blessed Spirits” by Frederick Ashton, and it was marvelous!
