It's not deja-vu! YouTube blocked my earlier posting of this so I'm trying again; so no t!me-stamps please! That said, you can follow the Spotify playlist where hopefully things don't change haha https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5xBreQDwFt3NJ07TRXBfBW?si=28X-vW-NTN2oANZBBMr12Q

I'm 94 and this reminds me when my father walked into the door from work and I faintly remember the smile on his face when I turned music on. This music will always hold a special place in my heart it feels warm cozy because that's how it felt back then it was mostly calm after WW2. It is the stamp of music.

@timothywilliams1359

Believe it or not, music like this – and especially albums of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey – helped me survive an emotionally abusive childhood in the 1960s. When I heard this music, I just knew real human love was out there somewhere.

@black11110

im 97 years young and still going strong! i remember while all the town kids were listening to this genre of music i was listening to jimmy Davis haha!! i remember the hot summer day 1943 on the way to sunday school as the bus driving over the tracks gets stuck. one of my pals marty let me come over to his home in elgin illinois and walking into his living room hearing this music just puts me into such a swell mood, i wish i could relive this special moment

Real music. I am 73 and played the rock n’roll from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and even the 90’s. I play several instruments, been in bands but this music when I was growing up in Brooklyn. My parents always had music playing in the house.

@SamhainBe

On behalf of myself and the ghosts living in my 1928-built house, let me extend a heartfelt thank you for this.

@sonny8638

My moms in her final weeks or days maybe. Distressed in her sleep, she's 94. Just started up this playlist and it's calming her. She's smiling thinking about her best early years. Thanks for putting this up. Please pray for my mom if anyone reads this. God bless.

Update: mom passed peacefully days after this post. 8/25/22 her children by her side, and the most peaceful look on her face. Thanks to everyone who comforted me and prayed for mom, at the time and still today. 💓 I'm eternally grateful. 🙏 (6/5/23)

I just love this! I can still see my aunts walking in the kitchen with my uncles, and the peaceful innocent-like days gone by. Shelling peas, making bread for supper……. And of course my grandma’s beautiful aprons. ❤ ( and my grandpas arms go around my grandmas waist!) so comforting

@Nesbittdono

Born in 1941, just a couple weeks after Pearl Harbour, this is the music I grew up listening to. Good music.

@oleradiodudea.m.4735

I grew up in the home of a WWII vet Dad. This stuff played all the time. I play these when I miss him.

@TheWoodlandDruid

This is so cosy and comforting! Its like snuggling up in an armchair with a grandmother putting a teapot and a plate of biscuits on the table for you.

@cecilthrift2747

Absolutely thrilled to read the comments by the young people that enjoy this music.

@schrodingerssquirrel6973

I live in a building that was built in 1940. Before I clicked the link I dedicated this play to the original owners. I hope they're smiling wherever they are.

@fireflyeffect1

Listening to this today on Easter 2024! ❤ Feeling Nostalgic. Miss the good old days. 🫶🙌

@sycamore1955

I'm 68 and love music from this era. Good music doesn't have to be loud with lots of drums banging.

@NellieGCabo

I miss my Father and Mother so Dearly. Thank you so much for Posting, Tears Rolled down on my cheeks.

@1nvad3r_f1nn

I'm 13 but this type of music makes me feel so comforted, at home and just happy in general I don't know why it just makes me feel so elegant, none of my friends get why I like it but I just love it!!

@Vitoriaholand

I'm 18, and i never lived in the time these songs were being listened by people
but i love this, it's like i can feel that time

@kevinflorkowski4750
