“Persona styled”? I guess relationship systems never existed before Persona now…
good that you talked about that "time system" was about to buy that game but I hate these time systems so much :/
I found a seller online with the game for $3, can't wait to try it out later on
This was a great review. Plus, you don't yell at us. That's appreciated. I subbed based on how informative this was. Thanks.
I just baught the game for the switch based on your Review. Thanks a lot for the good Explanation of the Game and its Mechanics.
This is dropping on Switch and Xbox soon. This review has really made me think about pre-ordering it... Thanks, man!
Just bought this on sale for around $8 on Nintendo's E-shop; can't wait to give this a crack! Honestly, though, I wish they would just port or remake Final Fantasy Tactics. That was the OG for me when it came to tactical style RPGs
To clarify, are we talking about a real time limit, or is it a Baldur's Gate type deal where time only passes when you do stuff?
im loving this, i can say most games i play that try comedy don't get me to actually laugh, but genuinely i have chuckled on several occasions. the voice actors are perfect for their roles and the small animation details fits so well. hes right that its not perfect, the non-panning camera (come on developers ff tactics did it and its old) and i have it on the switch, the load times are atrocious sometimes. but overall im loving it! id definitely recommend it, and for 25$? that's a pretty good deal
Thanks for an indepth review. Really got me interested in the game.
thinking about getting this for my switch so i can play on the go
3:20 can this move faster? Children of Zodiarcs (fast forward and automate those slow dice rolls) and Mario Rabbids moves so much faster.
good review mate, thanks a lot. Will get the game now.
If you like the playstyle of this play dofus or wakfu. Great games
Hey, thanks for the great review! I have been following this game for a bit now and was excited to pick it up as soon as it released. Then, a few days before launch, I read some comments discussing how there were no healing potions, spells, or healing spells etc in the combat. One of my favorite aspects of group/party based mechanics is the balance between tanky type units and "squishy" type units that can cast some high damage spells And/or also heal and buff party members with various spells. After watching your video I could tell there were some skills that seemed to heal the "shield" stat, but I didn't see any that actually heal HP, and did not see any magic users with staves or any such. I liked the fact that I saw one of the heroes with a taunt skill though, that's very much up my alley. Can you maybe comment a little on my heal/spell system concerns? Thanks!
Not a tactics style jrpg but Battle Chasers will scratch the itch of those looking for old school
Except the camera in combat issue, i did not catch any other flaws mentioned in the review, will you elaborate on it a bit more? I am planning to buy the game soon
is this like nino kuni 2?
Great little review! Thanks for the information!
