This proves again why I really appreciate your mom's rankings. Even as a huge fan of VBS, with many of my favorite songs ranked in F tier, I never felt the songs were too heavily insulted and like I could understand well the reasons for them being there. Basically, I didn't feel like I was being yelled at like "THIS SONG IS BAD AND ITS ALL BAD AND IF YOU LIKE IT YOU'RE WRONG AND DUMB," which the fandom can unfortunately delve into sometimes when it comes to song rankings ahaha. Plenty parts of this video pleased me, but I gotta admit I like the Ifuudodou rant. It is sexual for popular vocaloid songs, but plenty of pop songs, even in present day, can be WAY more explicit. The reception probably has to do a lot with the fandom being made up of teenagers, with minimal sexual experience and probably some apprehension/repulsion as a result of just how sexual the internet we grew up on can be. I for one like ifuudodou's lyrics. They almost feel kinda artistic to me in a way. Also we love Mirai in this house and I'm glad to see the appreciation.

I had a feeling that she wouldn’t like VBS as much as the other groups (I think older people tend to not be a fan of the genre that VBS generally represents), so I was prepared for this. I hope she likes L/n more! The kazoo part for PaIII.Sensation to match your mother’s comment was cute! I was surprised that she called E? Aa, Sou the most sexual song, though I suppose the shock factor might be a point in its favor since she was clearly briefed on Ifuudoudou lol. Also, it’s interesting how differently she ranks the Giga songs (from her third least favorite all the way up to her favorite, though even if discounting Odo because of how different it is, Ready Steady is still her 8th favorite) and her reaction to some of the fandom’s most hated VBS songs (Bring It On, Just Be Friends, Doctor=Funk Beat are all in the middle of the tier list, and Forward is in A tier). Also, Uninterrupted Indigo appreciation!

spring storm being dead last hurts my heart... its one of my favorites in the game </3 your mom's commentary for ifuudoudou is HILARIOUS though considering how many young vocaloid fans will be like "ooouuhhh the lyrics are about SEX how awful and gross and disgusting" whereas your mom is just like. this is nothing. this is VANILLA. also found it funny how unpredictable her picks were here.... the top has stuff like YY and mirai and flyer right next to shanti, gekokujo, ready steady... very fun :)
