You are the most amazing teacher ever ❤️❤️❤️
Really great job of explaining a difficult set of concepts —structured but esoteric subject. Brilliantly done! Gerry Wolfe
Awesome skills and theory Jeremy !! Sounds like the pianist were notes switched out with Dukes LOL. Like a one man band ;).
Hey Capt. For the record I think you quoted Candy Man not Pure Imagination? Both favorites of mine. "You can even eat the dishes..." you rock it no matter what pops up spontaneously.
Great video. Could you maybe go through this process with a few other tunes; the subject is deep and complex!
I completely understand everything you said here in my brain. I know it means slow and persistent practice. It's hard not to crash every now and then with frustration.
Fantastic job as usual!
Big fan of this guy
TY, Jeremy, for this super interesting crash course. It was a smash, so I'll dash to my keys real fast and lash about in a state of wonder and joy.💙🌟💙🌟💙🌟
Thank you for the crash course. I've definitely "crashed" attempting to practice closed-position voicings in the past. But this will help going forward.
excellent! 😉
Hi Jeremy thanks again for another great video. I was just wondering how can I get the kind of fluency you have when it comes to using these voicings, are there any specific exercises you would recommend for getting these under my fingers? I know you mentioned Barry Harris’ 6th diminished exercise but as you say it’s not very useful in a tune scenario. Again Thanks for the video and all your videos you’re the best jazz teacher on YouTube by far that I’ve come across😊. …Thankfully I’ve never been in a crash
The fact that you can burn with these voicings consistently shocks me. Very inspiring.
I wish I could do that bro ...
