I read this a long time ago as a kid and remember thinking owls can't look in windows cos can't hover and noone would ever mistake an owls flapping wings for a hovering demon, yeah the ears look a little like the owls tufts but these were hillybilly types, they know their wildlife they would be hunters or have hunters in family. I'm a sceptic who is interested in the paranormal, so first thing I do is look for obvious mistakes in stories and that owl thing is pure crap to me and UFO hysteria doesn't make sense when they were religious people and described them as demonic, looked even to me as a sceptic and a kid that they were trying to discredit the family. I'm subbed to all your channels and first joined cos the backrooms lore interested me and made me laugh, glad to see you branching into cryptids and paranormal

Good story! I haven't decided one way or another how believable I think alien sightings are (I agree that this is one of the more credible I've heard), but they are certainly interesting, and I simply have to say that military taking UFO's seriously now (with a few air force and navy pilots claiming to have seen them) should raise a few eyebrows

What to do when you see an alien? I knew this from a book that has all sorts of alien encounters. I couldn't remember the name of the book or author but the illustrations were really good and realistic. I remember the aliens being blue in the depiction with giant eyes and sharp teeth. They were also the same size as the family members. So although they did have some differences the drawings were great.
