i like booming bass, lol, i'm a bassist, and i really like the way you "pull your ass out of the fire" when you miss a hit. you can't teach that. most people stop and start over. get you a few more cymbals from craigslist, like a china, a splash and maybe a good 22 inch ride and your kit would be great.

i also agree. put a pillow or some kind of cushion material in your bass. tune your toms. and get a couple more symbols.

not knockin on your setup, but your kit doesn't do your skills justice.  you've got really good flow.  i bet you would sound more amazing with the proper recording equipment too.

the cymbal would sound better too if you didnt have it tilted towards you so when you hit it with the stick, it'll vibrate more.
