@HelenLemink

In Europe we pay drugs made in the US 10 times cheaper for a simple reason. About 80% of the budget of your big pharma is spent on advertising and those "seminars" in Hawai or Las Vegas for doctors that "want to know more about the product". In Europe, it's illegal, we call that corruption. Any advertising for drugs is also strictly forbidden. Also, we mandate our governments to negociate the prices in our name like :"give us a quote for 50 millions units a year, with no packaging, no advertising, and no "seminar" in Vegas"... Call it "communism" if you like, but guess what... we got a much better price.

@grittybunny

"A friend of mine who's a businessman, very, very, very top guy –– most of you would have heard of him –– highly neurotic, brilliant businessman, seriously overweight."
is this like the "asking for a friend" situation?

@landerson7348

Super important fact check. Abraham Lincoln did not suspend habeas corpus on his own. He had authorization from congress. He originally did try, but quickly corrected and there was an outcry about it. He went back and did it the correct way through congress and they did give him authorization. Again, he didn't do it on his own and was harshly corrected.

@OnokamiSenju

I’ve seen seen soldiers get article 15’s, put on extra duty, and lose half their pay for for accepting civilians buying them meals as appreciation for service…can’t imagine what the punishment would be for accepting a $400 million plane.

@DisProveMeWrong

TRUMP WILL NOT LOWER DRUG PRICES. He tried to do this same thing in his first term with an executive order and the courts struck it down. So unless he plans to put it through congress, this is just a headline to try to combat his 39% approval rating. The president cannot unilaterally set prices.

@postive-vibes

The SCOTUS does nothing, meanwhile I have the following amendments being broken brazenly: 1st (free press and right to assembly both), 4th (search and seizure), 5th (due process), 6th (right to counsel), 8th (cruel and unusual punishment), 14th (equal protection). I'm not even a lawyer and I can easily cite those violations.

@Crimethoughtfull

As an American who has been living in New Zealand since 2016...I'm glad I'm still living here.

@anb2526

The "equalizing a new word I came up with" wow.... I laughed hard

@Oceansta

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad that most of the American people have no idea what habeas corpus is and why it's important.

@samferrara1150

I'm a librarian.
On behalf of librarians worldwide, may we please request no one uses the words "Trump" and "library" within any kind of proximity to each other.
To do so causes librarians physical pain.
Everybody loves librarians.
Please don't cause us pain.
Carry on.....

@Steve_V1066

The first house fire I worked as a firefighter was at an artists house in our community. Saved everyone's life, all his pets, and got his artwork protected. He was so happy, he made a painting of each of the firefighters to thank us.

Because it was valued at more than 5 dollars (the level set by the community as the value of a gift) no one was allowed to accept the paintings and we couldn't take them home. The paintings ended up in the fire departments office on the wall. Somehow a painting was too valuable a gift, yet a half a billion dollar plane as a personal gift is just OK with these criminals.

@rdreamspeakerisi3266

Loved when Trump was talking about bringing down Pharma prices his spokesman later said this is something that Trump has wanted for awhile and althought he has TAKEN 100 million from big pharma you can trust Trump as he is honest, Sorry what you just said means he is corrupt.

@TheWrestler52

I love how he’s (saying) he wants to lower drug prices because his rich friend complained and it would help him and not because it would help Americans

@chucktaylor4958

It’s horrifying what our country has become. It is an idiocracy

@mauricioangulos.2830

Four thousand years ago, a guy called Donald of Troy convinced his followers to accept the 400 Million Drachma Giant Horse that the Greeks gave to him as a gift. "They offered us this beautiful, magnificent, strong free horse, from the standpoint of statues", he said, "what am I supposed to do, give it back?"

@Project-X-COSTA

Bribe Force One 😅

@KeithMullineux

The biggest master bedroom for the biggest masterbater. But zero for the American people except less of everything.No dolls for anyone.

@giacomopeters9988

When I served and had a clearance for intelligence, it was made perfectly clear we could not accept gifts of any sorts under any circumstances. If you are forever military, I don’t understand how you could possibly support this freaking criminal.

@MaximBordyug.

This truly is an exhausting time to be an American

@loremipsumdolo

Being called overweight isn't half as insulting as being tarred with "friend to trump"
