When you click a vocaloid video it comes with a package of Depression .

@melonchaa07

if you're a parent and you're in an unhealthy relationship with your significant other, please don't ignore your child. You can ignore your partner but please don't shut yourself out from your kid(s) especially. This song basically explains that if a child is ignored from both parents, they'll feel unwanted or like a bad kid. So please at least give your kid(s) some attention.

@chrisdarcyxx8747

Someone's probably said this before, but I just thought of something. She's probably the child of the blonde haired guy, and she knows it. The girl with brown hair is her vision of what she would look like if she was the actual biological child of the man she calls her father (the moment where she sees her father with the brunette girl and drops her doll , that's a metaphor for the moment she realises she isn't her father's daughter). It haunts her because it's all she ever wanted to be. She makes the dolls and drawings to fantasize being part of a perfect family. I know a million people have said it, but it hit me suddenly.

@fcantil

Here's what I got from this:
It's about a child that hasn't been given enough attention because her father is busy working and her mother is having an affair. This leads to her being alone all the time. She wishes for them to go back to the way they were, when they were all bonding together and having fun. She starts thinking that she isn't needed and is unwanted by her parents.

Later, she sees her dad with another daughter, who's wearing the same clothes as her doll, which she really loves. Which means, this other girl is just imaginary and is just a symbol for a version of herself that's love by her parents, and she's really envious of this.

She goes to the beach they used to go to and tries to drown herself. Next, she's in a field of flowers and she sees her parents waiting for her to come to them. She says "bye bye" and walks towards them, meaning that she's going towards heaven. You can see in the field that her parent's clothes match her dolls' clothes. The dolls are basically the family she wants to have. But, it doesn't exist at that time. So, you could say that she wanted to not exist just like the doll versions of her parents. Then, her real parents pull her back and decide to care for her because they realized it was foolish to neglect their only child. At the end, the doll version of herself disappears and goes back to a doll because she isn't envious of her anymore, and she's finally happy.

Am i the only one crying here

@godcantsaveme7377

My mom keeps comparing me with my brothers and she keeps on saying oh your brothers wouldn't do this or that. One day there was an elderly woman in a wheelchair at a Wendy's and all my family say her having trouble with carrying her food so I got up in the middle of my brothers sentence and helped her carry it to her car. When I got back I looked at my mother in the eyes and said "Ya, my brothers wouldn't do that." and sat down.

Update: Karma is a bitch! You know why? My mom found out that both of them smoked weed and where drinking underage. She also found out that one of them did lines in college. Also thank you for the kind comments! I nearly committed suicide more than once and it warms my heart to read these messages.

@rorokkubs

8 years later this song is still relatable

@hirim.

That moment where you cry over a fictional character and their problems because you can relate to everything

@sunnyshine715

I can relate to this song a lot. I feel like my mom has no interest in what I have to say, and doesn't even want to listen to me. She always sounds irritated and annoyed, I'm scared to open up to her. In this time of my life, I need her the most, but it feels like she isn't there. She doesn't want to be there.

@suziebelle4113

My theory

This little girl is neglected (unintentionally). Her dad is always at work and her mom is having an affair. Her parents never pay attention to her, and her dad started to catch on to her mom's lies. They have arguements 24/7 and pay no attention to their child.

The little girl is deppressed and has an imaginary friend, symbolized by the doll and the kid in the park. She resembles who the girl wants to be, a kid with a loving family. She makes dolls of her parents, and has fantasies of her being in a normal, healthy family.
The little girl plays with her imaginary friend at the park regularly, because that's the only place she can get away from her parents. Eventually, she sees her mom singing to herself, in a cheery mood, ready to see her secret lover, and later sees her imaginary friend playing with her dad (the fantasy one), and that's when the girl is completely done. She just wants to get away. She just wants it to stop.
So she runs away, sitting in a train and waiting until night to get as far away as possible from her family. But that's not enough.
She goes to the beach, her favorite place. She then sees her fantasy family, waving at her and coaxing her to come forward. She walks in the water and drowns.

She wakes up in heaven, her fantasy family cheering and waving. Smiling and laughing, she runs out the other end of the water, but, just as she was about to enter heaven, death grips her arm and chucks her back into the water, making her wake up in the hospital room, her parents weeping and hugging her.

Her imaginary friend smiles and leaves the room with the two parent dolls, because now, she has attention and will not be ignored anymore.

@nez6496

For some unknown reason, I kinda forgot the name of this song. And obviously, being the forgetful person I am, the only lyric I remember was, you guessed it, "ratata"
...So, in order to find this, my stupid ass tried to search: "ratata japanese song" and, somehow, I literally found it. Instantly. It was there, sitting on the top of the list. Am I right to assume that I'm not the only one who did this? XD

@CrescentMoonDancer15

This is what I got from this video
Father is always working, Mother is having an affair
Thus the daughter is home all alone and constantly wishing they could go back to how things used to be
Finally, she gets tired of feeling useless and unwanted so she leaves to go to the beach they used to go to like in the picture in her hand
She tries to commit suicide by drowning in the ocean at said beach hence when she says "Alone, I say 'bye bye'"
The two adults she's seen walking towards are seen standing in a field of flowers so that's her when she starts to walk towards heaven to hopefully finally be happy again
But at last second we see a hand pull her back and that's when she wakes up in the hospital to her parents who finally snap out of their little world and realize they have a daughter
as for the dolls
I think the two adults she saw in "heaven" were them. If you look closely the woman is wearing the same dress as her "doll mom" so that's why I think it's them.
The arm that pulls her back is real father
so at the end when we see her little girl doll smiling at her I think that they sort "planned" it all so her family would get back together
Also, at the park when she sees her "father" and a little girl. It's actually her dolls and she seems to care more about her father because she drops her "mother" doll and it's her father that pulls her back and who she hugs when she wakes up
EDIT: Oh, and to those that think she was born from an affair. If you take a look at her eyes they are blue like her fathers. As for her hair, it could either be a mutation or she inherited it from a grandparent. I, for instance, got my hair AND eye color from my great grandmother. My family says there isn't anyone else since her that inherited her specific shading for either of them so not only am I the first but I'm also the only one. So her eyeshade could also be a mutation or dormant genetic from a grandparent.

@missseaweed2462

I thought I had escaped this fandom...

@evee_ning

I'm listening to this while hugging my niece and then I realized this niece of mine is neglected by her parents, they both abandoned her and never really paid attention to her, then that's where I thought " ahh this girl will struggle in the near future so she might put a lot of burden to her shoulder" I hugged her and whispered " I will love you as a mother would" even though she still doesn't get what I meant, I will take care of her so when she grew up she wouldn't be sad knowing what her parents did and won't hold a grudge on them knowing she have me who took care of her as a mother would, she would not feel being unwanted at all.

AM NOT GUD AT ENGLISH SO PARDON MEH
