Nuclear war is scary as hell but imagine what the world would be like if there was no nuclear weapon to keep each other in check. There would be many wars that includes war with superpowers as well.

The question is if any national leader of a nation armed with nuclear weapons ordered a first strike would that order be followed? Yes of course for a defensive strike but a first offensive strike no. Most likely that leader would be quickly shot.

In 1970s Russian nuclear war head reach 50000 and usa reached 30000+ but in agreement they decided to make it less and use it on submarines and energy
