safety, what people living with Trauma and child abuse need the most...
Great, powerful information thank you Dr. Snipes! ππ»βοΈ
Part way through and already I am impressed with this nugget. As a patient who's worked hard at finding answers to explain the violence I lived with as a developing child, this presentation confirms my own conclusions. The biggest is letting go of pessimism for learning to be optimistic. There once was a time I rejected Hope as a concept: soccour never came to my rescue; the neighbours seemed to have blocked their ears, my school teachers seemed to ignore the welts on my arms and legs, no other adult approached me to ask if I was all right. The nuggets are good; my attention span is tested when there is a cache to view. THANK YOU.
Just to clarify, I have been learning so much about my condition now(DID) When people that are familiar with your triggers and access(programming) codes, and they use them on you-they do it to bring up alters within your internal system. So you understand when this happens, it gives you so much power. It also reveals who your abusers(handlers) are.
Thank you. I been waiting for this subject to come up again somewhere.
This is very helpful for my assessment coming up as Im studying counselling. Thanks Doc :)
I just moved into an apartment that I can't leave any time soon (signed lease, don't know when something else will come up etc.) and there are numerous triggers in here that I wasn't previously aware of- aspects of the house connected to my worse memories. How do I get through and overcome this, since I can't move/currently control my environment?
Thank you, i am looking for how to help my child with picky eating. It gives me a bit more understanding now how this can help her.
Big like 59ππ great sharing dear friend ππ keep in touch ya π
