Now that everyone has a computer, tablet or smartphone, anyone can learn from home saving money instead of going to a 4 year university.  I think that is good that companies are dropping degree requirements as college has gotten more expensive

In programming, you can learn everything for free. There are many, many books you can read for free too (via trial accounts). The only 2 things you need: a will to learn and time πŸ™‚
