@MatrixEvolution17

rule of thirds is great when used appropriately but that headshot example kind of shows why it doesn't need to be used all the time lol

@sh0lle

For landscape shots yes, but for vertical shots no - center is the best.

@Ali7Gaming

I think there's a bit of confusion about the rule of thirds. It's great for horizontal portraits and landscapes, but not good for vertical headshots. Headshots are usually centered to keep the focus on the face. The rule works best when the composition allows room to balance elements off-center.

@DanielTheMandalorian

I have the 5D Mark IV too!πŸ˜€

@jablodoes

Whoah! Now those other shots you showed are prime examples of when to use thirds. They’re amazing imo, but Headshots you should only worry bout that top line if at all

@creativepicnl

Seriously. Using gridlines is the best advice when it comes to creating fast compositions imo.

@unbox64

bro the loop is so damn good!

@Mintu-p6i

@tika543

i think it's a great video good job brother πŸ™πŸ‘‘β€οΈπŸ‘

@Dreamkilled

Visual interest is a secondary effect that arises from the interactions of objects located in thirds. Boat versus sea. Racer versus road. Knight versus dragon. Catapult versus fortress. Upper thirds for objects that dominate. Lower thirds for those in a precarious position. It's all about the story, the expressiveness of which is shown through composition, not about visual interest.

Those are some striking eyes

@Christoph_Walks

Cool concept for sure. Will try out. I liked this video bc of how high quality it is and the idea.

@rinsw8872

this works for horizontal but not vertical, its totally different for vertical video (or photo), for vertical video, everything should be located as middle as possible, as there are so many different social media with whatever UI they want it to be, so middle it goes

@scotteberline

vertical is my favorite composition

@livebirdz4998

Best bro

@nxz7sba
