This is usually how it goes for sheltered or spoiled kids, who have such big responsibilities and expectations placed on them early on. They dont experienced life on their own terms and become bored easily and will lack impulse control. I was one, and growing up, I was sometimes a follower and got into more severe trouble than others when I hung out with the "cool" crowd. My mom directed me so much that when I left home, I lost all sense of it, lol. Being a parent now I understand her, but I do try to kill the motor when I catch myself helicopter parenting. Best thing about time and the grace of God is that you have a choice to learn from your mistakes (We all make them 😊) and do better. It's called growing up. She's only 22, learning to properly love herself. She'll be alright. ❤
