If you're at the point where you are Borrowing Money to pay your Rent, Bills and Food, YOU ARE IN DEEP TROUBLE!

@oconnem1

If the stats quoted by Jay are accurate, Russia’s banking system is on the brink of collapse. I’m a former banker and these numbers would terrify me. Especially given interest rates of over 20 percent.

@newsgeekus1216

I am always surprised how long collapses take, but the trajectory is unmistakable. Dictatorships are rock-solid , until they’re not.

@tonioarceamorrortu9223

Ukraine is a very intelligent and brave country. ❤️

@scootermagee6680

President Taco certainly isn’t doing anything to help.

@aurelius5961

Putin is more than happy to go into Stalinism.

@Sadie-san

Best line in a while: 'The collapse doesn't care'

Your channel must be setting YT growth records, Jason. Keep up the good work.

My family back in russia is trying to sell a car for $1000. They're quite car dependent - and yet they are so desperate, they are about to sell the car for a fraction of my monthly income here in Germany. For an amount below my combined monthly expenses on rent, phone/internet and savings.

That's how desperate the thing is in the very Moscow region, the most prosperous part of Russia.

And I can't help. Because of the sanctions. Because my country of origin brought it on itself. And there is only one person there who understands that, and therefore supports Ukraine - and is, at the same time, the main bread bringer.

@tamasgyorffy1

They obviously over-extend. Hungarian economist here. I am not a full-blown pro or expert, but with some experience (in foreign affairs, plus saw our regime changes around 1989), I can tell ya the picture is obvious. The Q is how it will collapse? And also, when they call NATO for help, since this is the only alliance potentially able to stabilize the civil wars coming there, will we have the power projection capability, as the US will be very much needed. Or will China be so nice and go "peacekeeping" up the Urals? Big turmoil is coming there. Biden (and Obama, and Trump1.0 in some extent) protected russia from the consequences of its actions, but they double down, it is their very nature to self-annihilate. Big turmoil it will be, and even if economically they are irrelevant already for international financial markets and stability, their domestic shit hitting the fan will have to be dealt with at international level. With international action... and no one but them russians are responsible. a chaotic structure, a cancer, not a country.

Thanks, Jason You are an eloquent spokesperson and do a great job helping us understand what's going on.

The grifter in chief is doing to us exactly what his vladdy daddy has done to Russia.

@CoinsandBars

The depreciation of the russian rouble against all other currencies is certainly not a sign of a good economy either. Victory for Ukraine!

@bryanperry8342

I feel so sorry for the Russian people their leader is no more than a School ground bully that gets a kick by causing pain to others. God protect Ukraine. Bryan & Jill 🇬🇧

@blablabic2024

They've got maybe two years of financial reserves before grinding to a halt. Two years is too long. We need to accelerate it to two months... I wish... 😞

@ohsokawaiijan8148

Kremlin are soon bankruft

@pgluvp4e

Thank you ….great program!

@ehzimmer

Thanks for your reports.

@LewisPulsipher

Comparisons of debt with USA, China, India, Europe would help provide context. Absolute numbers don't mean much on their own.
