Incase you guys didn't know, this happened at the Copacabana.

@emilyj.e

This song needs to be a movie

@MMDTrxsh

Just discovered this song.
The amount of lore it has is drawing me in. They don't outright tell you who was shot immediatelyโ€” only that Lola lost her love at Copacabana.

And then they come around and tell you that she's thirty years older and drinking the memories away so much that the alcohol is making her go blind.

They end by telling you not to fall in love at Copacabana because it would draw in unsavory characters that might do you in.

WHAT A TRIP.

@Fallout_person112

lola: i lost my love interest D:
the song: AT THE COPAAA

@Avery-n1q

Lola crazy, still wearing clothes from 30 years ago. I need to know more about Lola.

@DustyBlade843

"She lost her youth, and she lost her Tony
Now she's lost her mind
At the Copa (Copa), Copacabana (Copacabana)"

@Fw.DaNana

This song sounds like an evil omnipotent force ruined Lola's life for whatever reason, especially because of the last part. The "Don't fall in love" sounds hella ominous. But if we are to go with that conclusion, then what would be the reason?

@primlaine

I love songs like this, it has its own cliffhanger anticipating what happened next from the lyrics ๐Ÿ˜ญ

@Ph4nt0m_0nFn

This song was released 1978 my grandma told me she listened to it as a kid surprising isnโ€™t it.

@SquareCeption

Lola: the world collapsing around her, losing her love, her job and slowly her sanity.. it's been 3 decades.. no one cares and everyone is oblivious and partying whilst she suffers
The singers: โ™ชAT THE COPA, COPACABANA, THE HOTTEST SPOT NORTH OF HAVANA~โ™ช

@sketchup.ketchup

These lyrics are so deep, I actually love old music so much---

@NoelOW.
