I like that i no longer need the remote of my tv and soundbar. Everything is controlled by the siri remote. You would forget that apple tv is just a setup box. It feels like it’s the tv itself.

I haaaaate the slow a@s processors in tvs and projectors. So that was the only reason i bought the apple tv... and i am very happy with it.

One thing people don’t understand about these is how long they last. I bought a first gen 4k used in 2018, and it’s still going well 6 years later.

Definitely gonna be buying it. My tv has a full second of input delay, horrible os, remote that actually fucking broke when I dropped it, and has an unusable remote app that takes like 5 minutes to connect every time. And when it randomly does a countdown to go to sleep (not a setting you can turn off), I have to frantically refresh the app so it connects in time for me to cancel
