All the mondstadt characters besides Mona, Kaeya and Albedo are technically German. Mona is from Fontaine I believe so she would technically be French and Kaeya and Albedo are from Khanriea(please tell me if I spelt that wrong) so they would technically be some Scandinavian country. As for Childe he is from Snezhnaya so he is Russian and Sara would be Japanese.

Monsdast is a city inspired by Germany, Liyue by China and Inazuma by Japan so I think all the characters of Inazuma are Japanese all those of Liyue Chinese and all those of Monsdast German or European.
