as a jason main, my thing about him is that his hitboxes are okay for his short ranged play style, but the attack hitboxes for slash FEEL like linger for longer. i've tried juking other jasons too but when they turn they've already hit me edit: maybe its because jasons m1 responds faster than 1x and john
Okay, i understood one thing. If you say a character is bad / needs a nerf, every single main of that character will complain on comments
As a level 100 jason main, I'm gonna say The reason Jason's hitbox feels so comically large is because of roblox's server being made of potatoes. Due to latency with pings, even if you have 60 pings, your hitboxes will usually lag behind for 1 second, on your screen, you're behind a wall but on the killer screen, you're not, the same thing affects every killers too, the only way to fix Jason's hitbox is to pray Roblox fix their terrible TERRIBLE servers

one of my BIGGEST pet peeves about walkspeed override is the fact that it doesn't give a speed boost to survivors for getting hit like how an M1 would usually do. Therefore if coolkid uses it at point blank range, they lose ZERO distance while benefiting by dealing 40 DAMAGE. To add salt into the wound, they start to recover stamina while the survivor can't since if they tried, they'd be right next to coolkid by the time the hit animation is down. Plain and simple, unless you have sentinels to help you in the match to slowdown coolkid, if you get hit by this it's straight up WRAPS. While other high burst damage moves like Gashing wound and Mass Infection give some manner of distance, whether or not they hit it, Coolkid can just deal 40 damage on top of a M1. I understand this killer is supposed to apply pressure to survivors, but this isn't pressure, this is literally unfair. So god damn unfair that you don't even need walkspeed override to win, just having it in your belt is enough to force survivors into making mistakes since they don't want to be hit by a 40 damage instant cast jason hitbox equivelant move that can only benefit Coolkid. One of my balance suggestions is to give this speedboost so that the survivors don't instantly die when hit by a move that's supposed to punish predictable movement but is instead being used as a fancier M1. on top of that, IT CAN GO THROUGH WALLS!!

5:10 also 1x can kill faster than basically any killer if he's using entanglement & up close mass infection. Pair that up with his minions, & you have your worst enemy for lms

You can turn off those glitchy things that appear on your screen each time 1x hits you by turning on or off (dk which one is it) epilepsy mode in settings.

jason actually needs a buff for his mobility problem, if you catch a jason with less stamina than you, he will not catch up, never ever, even with raging pace, since the windup is so long, if the survivor watches out for the windup, he can stall it out and just continue, and jason has no distance unlike any other killer
1:46 Actually he isnt stunned for a maximum time, he is stunned for a FIXED time, so no matter how long or short a stun might be (point blank vs max range chance shot), it will always be 2.175 seconds.

Viewing hitboxes, YOUR hitbox is in THEIR range, not to mention there are LINGERING and BREAKTHROUGH hitboxes Lingering hitbox is like JD's Digital Footprint, if Jason or ANY OTHER killer misses, but you still get hit, it's because of lingering hitbox. ^ (you can see this by showing your hitbox and twisting around in slashing animation) Breakthrough Hitbox is when an attack goes through solid objects (i.e. walls) Jason's Gashing Wound is big enough to have that, that's why he can still reach you despite having a wall blocking the way Another example of this is 1 to the power of 4's ranged attacks, and JD's spikes.. In other words -- don't blame the KILLER, blame the PLAYER.
