hey mattshea, if you put hypno scaredy behind hyno nut, the projectiles boost and heal the hypno nut. The boost makes them spawn better zombies

These clips of Matt being in love with the mini-shrooms are priceless .❤

@dayrocket7372

Okay so welcome back for another round of tips as before I hope you guys like this and help get this a decent amount of notoriety so it can reach him and make sure to include your own feedback in the replies, heavily appreciate it that you looked at my overly long list of stuff so imma make another one but this one will be slightly more organized.

Fertilizer/endstone(or wtv it was called I play Chinese) - that flower plant you unlocked is potentially one of the most important plants you can acquire as it is the only plant able to generate fertilizer in addition to being able to generate sun from being hit. when it talks about absorbing projectiles in its description it also takes hits with your own plants which sounds useless but from getting hit it can almost instantly make back all of the money you spent on it plus some and grant you additional fertilizer. Fertilizer is also incredibly important in night levels as they can cause your sun shrooms to grow instantly without waiting meaning instantly you have 3 sun flowers worth of sun production in one tile for the price of a single sunflower, pretty broken just make sure to use it on the most recently planted sunshroom to get the most bang for your buck(this also works for seashrooms but that's much later)

Mushrooms - When fusing puff shrooms with fume shrooms as you've noticed it causes a weird interaction and it's a similar thing with scaredy shrooms, with fume shrooms if you place it on a plot of 3 puff shrooms it places puff shrooms in front of it in a weird pattern creating 3 additional puff shrooms for the price of one fume shroom it does a similar thing with scaredy shrooms and this has some applications that i'd rather have you figure that out on your own though as it's a bit annoying to explain the nuances of this just know it's relatively niche in its use when it's not usually that much more efficient than just focussing on other plants and placing the shrooms normally unless you're tryharding basically to sum that up placing fume and scared shrooms on puff shrooms grants you additional mushrooms but you have to move them with the glove making it a bit weird to use

New fusions - since you're in the night levels and about to unlock the doom shroom there's a few additional fusions you can unlock soon, one of which being potentially the most important fusion in the entire game, that being the fusion between ice shroom, doom shroom and fume shroom(I don't know english names I think it's the obsidian fume shroom or something) this fusion is one of the strongest fusions in the game especially for early game and once you unlock doom shroom I say your first move should be to go into the mini games and unlock this fusion, it's one of the only nighttime fusions you can reliably bring into daytime levels and if you know what you're doing and I'll get into the second new fusion you have in the next segment

Mushrooms PT 2 - Hypno shrooms are like their own little archetype and there should be a couple levels regarding their unique mechanics, Ii will not go fully into depth as a lot of hypno related stuff comes later on into the game or are locked behind the oddessy game mode. one thing to take note of is the hypno walnut which can receive healing and faster spawn cooldowns by being hit wit hypno pellets. For example if you create the hypno fume scaredy shroom(the second fusion you can currently unlock) and you have a hypno nut in front of it, even if there isn't a zombie in front of it it should be able to shoot at the walnut causing it to heal and spawn zombies earlier, it's a similar situation with the cherry walnut and the double cherry peashooter. speaking on that new fusion you can unlock currently the fume hypno scaredy shroom has an AOE hypno attack that can, as just described shoot out bullets that can overtime lead to a hypno effect in a decent radius and it also does very solid damage and with the mystery box it's pretty efficient to get out after doing just one of the required fusions. Edit: also once you unlock a doom shroom you can fuse it with ice shroom(just use slow mode for that) to create the ice doom shroom which stops time, making it so zombies are physically unable to spawn for a couple seconds but it's typically just better to use the glove and place that onto a fume shroom to make one of those obsidian fume shrooms.

Gloves - there's 2 types of gloves you can use and I think a few more that become available or will be in a later update(not sure I just saw some vids of them) there's the regular green glove you can use for plants and then there's the black glove which you can use to pick up zombies(I think you swap out using V but it's been a minute since I've played cuz I got a new laptop recently) That black glove is especially useful in hypno strategies because you can move your own hypnotized zombies with that glove meaning if you get a gargantuan robot like you had earlier and a ton of zombies in an undefended lane you can move it to that lane and use it as a psuedo lawnmower it's really cool how they have the hypno stuff setup.

Plant evolutions PT 2 - Tallnut fusions are petty important as well as they all lead to a full heal on your tallnuts, most plant evolutions like cattails, cob cannons, spike rocks, tallnuts and gloom shooms have both a fire and ice variant which is pretty cool in the case of tallnuts as they give them a full heal in addition to acting as an additional powerup. With tallnuts if you get any metal football helmets you can upgrade the tallnuts with those, doubling their hp and granting you the ability to heal them with metal. Puff shrooms can also be upgraded with metal objects when fused with a peashooter I believe(because metal peashooters have the same interactions) Fume shrooms can also be upgraded with metal but they need to be fused with magnets first(that was the gray fusion you saw previously from the mystery box)

Chompers - In some scenarios it's better to place down unfused chompers as unlike their peashooter walnut counterparts base chompers can one shot a lot of different types of enemies and I mean a lot, even enemies you don't think they should be able to eat they can, as long as it's not a garg or a flying enemy or an ultra enemy which you can't encounter in the main campaign chomper can one shot literally anything especially zomboni's which comes in clutch when you meet the much more advanced zomboni's

Minigames - this one is less of a tip as it doesn't really help with anything I just think it might be a good idea to take a break from the story every now and again and try some of the minigames, there's a lot of unique ones like chomper snake or walnut pool it'd be super interesting to see your reaction to some of those games.

Hope you see this and I'll be back in the next vid to provide some suggestions

@sunniboi7841

Hey it's me, Guoba. I've been commenting on each of your videos so far.

A tip you can do during the night is to plant a sunflower, let it produce sun first, then drag it onto ur 3 puff shroom stacks. (A similar use case for this would be chomper fusions where you can reset their digestion)

Endoflame is a very useful plant in the night levels because it converts ur OWN bullets into sun and a fertilizer. It doesn't produce sun from enemy projectiles but will produce fertilizer if it dies in any way or gets shoveled.

Being able to plant fume shrooms and scaredy shrooms on 3 stacks of puff shrooms is a very cheap way to cover other lanes because it duplicates more the more puffshrooms are duped.

If you press V, it swaps the glove to moving zombies mode and the glove is brown. Press V to swap it back.

Another tip is that when you fuse something that explodes like doom shroom, ice shroom, or cherry bomb onto something, the explosion effect still happens. This is very useful when you have doom shroom or ice shroom fusions (or both) because it's a way to get one of their explosions on a fast cooldown by using the giftbox.

You could test this out on your next episode with tall-nut and gloom shroom because those plants with the fertilizer upgrades only have fire (jalapeno) and ice (ice shroom) fusions normally.

You can get a triple fusion like chompzilla through a challenge now, and you will be able to get the next one for the night levels after you unlock doomshroom.

@Judgement00

The chompzillas constantly heal after every bite. They're like a wallnut initially, but can gain up to 16000 health at max (which constantly depletes back to 4000)

@runetheshadowmage

18:50 The Glove changing is a button you need to click, it changes it into a glove that can move zombies

@Drakonus_

18:34 You changed the glove into a zombie glove through a hotkey. That's why you couldn't move plants. I don't remember the hotkey but you can see the color of the glove change into brown.

This may be the best series ever to be uploaded on YouTube

@vocabularicCity

if you put scaredy on top of pumpkin, the pumpkin will prevent scaredy shroom from going down

@StanleyG23

Definitely try out the Doom-Shroom Chomper next time!

Mattshea there is a new collab coming up in battle cats, Baki collab

@Y0u588

Matt, I believe in you can do the Merciless mode Since you are the elite grandmaster Plants vs. Zombies player in history.

@9n985

Yeah I think you hit V accidentally which resulted in your glove turning it into a zombie glove that moves zombies.

@Yasartellioğlu-z6l

Matt here's fact:if u place hypno scaredy shroom behind hypno nut the projectiles will heal the nut instead of hitting zombies healing will make that hypno nut spawn hypnotized zombie faster only behind the nut though and only works when trying to shoot a zombie

@bluepieguy

Hey Matt, here's some advice:
Endoflame actually absorbs plant bullets (not zombie bullets)
Gutsy-shroom will shoot small spores when zombies are far away, and fume spores when zombies are closer.
You actually did press a button when the glove turned brown (specifically the V button) and that brown glove actually lets you move zombies. You can press V again to toggle between plant and zombie gloves.
