I'm going to be starting an online store for my photography the first part of next year once I've finished saving enough cash to cover my annual expenses. This is just a side gig for some extra income for now, but your videos have formed a valuable portion of my research the last year or so. I've got almost everything nailed down, just need insurance quotes and to find an accountant to make sure I transfer assets and capital correctly. Thank you very much for the information you provide.

Good on you for correcting yourself. I was watching a few other YouTube videos on sole proprieter vs llc and all say form it now because it's a hassle to have to form one later.

I live in Massachusetts, if I file my LLC now and is it possible to make it effective from 1stJanuary??? Else can I make it sole proprietorship for 3 months and convert to LLC from jan1st?? Is it feasible

I’m considering opening an LLC, currently no Revenue, my immediate concern is having to pay the $800 California tax next year and we are right around the corner… and I read the first year taxes for llc is waived due to The pandemic. Not sure if that’s true or not. Either I way, Is it ideal I wait till January 1st? This way I won’t have to pay that $800 until 2022…?
