@JesseMason

Combing textbooks and the internet for an equation specific to your situation is usually a frustratingly fruitless endeavor. Instead, start every projectile motion problem with the Displacement Equation (DE) and the Velocity Equation (VE) for both horizontal and vertical directions. Next modify the equations to reflect your known values - creating a toolbox! Only then will you have the right equations you need to solve your problem.

I had tears rolling down my cheeks! Never in my life have I seen a physics problem laid so beautifully and elegantly in my life before!

Brilliant! I retired from teaching in 2018 at a high school in Cape Town. I was born in 1955. My dad was a physics teacher. I also taught physics for a while, but your teaching is a stunning revelation to me! Thank you very much, Prof Mason.

@evanmastermind

You are way better than my teacher who just provides cheeky demonstrations and makes us learn it all ourselves.

It's 1 o'clock in the morning, I've downed 3 red bull because I have an assignment to hand in 12 hours that I haven't started. This vid has just helped me solve 4 out of the 7 task. Thank you sir for making my life easier

Never in my life has someone taught me projectile so well. Thank You, sir. May you live long and bless us with more of these sort of videos.

Hi, dude

Such a great video to refresh old days. I'm an engineer, and If I had watched videos like this when I was in my first semester, I would have been one of the top students in the class.

I say hi from Colombia, the best paradise in the world.

@techguy1678

Jesse, you couldn't have made this problem any simpler! I've been struggling with Physics and had this exact same problem on my exam. Thanks alot! Would love to see more videos from you. Cheers.

@kevinjohnston7167

this was EXTREMELY helpful, and was presented way more clearly than my physics prof! thank you so much!

@jayasimhanrao3269

Students needs Teachers like you.. good job. keep doing..

@dilaraduman955

You made physics understandable for the first time in my 5 years of university life! God bless you Jesse!

@DeanTheMachine94

13 min video taught me more than a three hour lecture...

I wish I could give you the money I give my useless professor.

@gabipaczolay5183

dude, you're a life saver! if my professor was merely half as good as you, our class would be filled with physics geniuses.
