I live in southern Alabama - similar in heat, but a lot more humidity. I bought a Spanish lavender plant last year, but killed it by overwatering when it went dormant in the summer. I didn't realize they did that and thought it was dying from the heat. Thank you for this information!

@mikeski8827

I recently added French Lavender and English Lavender to my garden and this guide has, thankfully, stopped me from making so potentially big mistakes! Thanks very much!

@kerrihatz2410

You and your knowledge is incredible....love watching and learning from you.

@chrisd8795

Just purchased several French lavender plants and this advice was much needed. I plan to make bouquets and French spice blends with my lavender. My new obsession with my garden is growing my own herbs and spices for making blends. Has been a fun way to get creative with cooking and saves so much $$$$.❤

@LoriSavingWild

love your doggie. First time I have seen him or her. I would love for you to incorporate her or him more often. Soooo cute

@megancondo1962

I cannot thank you enough for your channel! We just bought our first home in Phoenix and are adding lots of plants to the backyard. I love lavender, but everyone said it would die here. Thank you so much for the tips!

@tanshar

Wow wow. I have a lavender bush in the front yard that is not doing well. Was thinking of moving it to a container and bring it to my backyard. Timely video. Thanks 🙏

@tintaya30

I have French and English lavender. They are doing great but I'm glad I saw your video so I don't increase the amount of watering this summer and I don't prune when they look bad over the summer ❤

@Ohelojam

I live in zone 12b but rainy area. I haven’t been successful in growing. I will try again after listening to your tips with English type. Thank you.

@clairewestlakemusicstudio9960

Very helpful Angela!  Thank you!

@bowtielife

That is a TON of great information! I am on my third attempt at lavender, feeling pretty low about it after killing previous feeble attempts. Currently, I am nursing a large one dug out of a friend's garden. I will be re-watching this video! Thank you, Angela. I followed you over from the Garden Party with TX Garden Guy. 🤩

@whoohoo7

I live in Chandler I'd love to try and grow lavender, thanks for the tips!

@JulieGrove-gt6xe

Yet another helpful video! I grow lots of fern leaf lavender but now I know to add Spanish lavender to the mix - thank you!

@Grkgd1s

I’d like to learn to make the soap! My plan is to grow it in pots close to the house to keep away mosquitos and near the chicken coop to keep it smelling fresh.

@samanthat.2633

Wonderful advice! I’ve been growing fern leaf Lavendar from a small planted pot. I transferred it into the ground and is growing slowly. I had no idea I shouldn’t fertilize it! Thankfully I focused more on adding eggshell compost

@KokoraLife

Much harder in soggy places! Thanks for these tips!

@chihuahua-rihanna2763

Love your channel! I live in LA. I bought the Spanish lavender blooming well. Two days later after I bought it , under the sun the flowers dried and the leaves seems died

@janetdickerson2518

Helpful information on growing my Spanish Lavender Plant I received for Mother's Day 💜. I hope it thrives. I love Lavender.
Thank you so much!
🙂💜

@Sisteryoda1440

Thank you for the great information! I love lavender but have struggled to keep it alive. I’ll check out those types and get them in the fall.

@miljakk

I live in Dalmatia, where it's just as hot, but I'm going to give it a try. I've seen it growing successfully in lots of random, abandoned spots, so I figure it doesn't need much water so I won't overdo it. Thank you for tips!
