About the scene in which Jieun cusses, she said "Since director Hirokazu is not used to Korean swearing, the initial script was a bit Japanese-like. So I asked him if I could add some opinions, and he said yes without hesitation. Thus I changed the lines with more popular Korean slangs. At first swearing was challenging because it is not what I usually do and it was the first time ever I cussed in a movie scene. So I practiced a lot at home. And I was nervous before shooting the scene. Thankfully, the coactors of the scene were so good that I was angry as if it was real, and in turn it was finished much faster than I expected."
