The one thing I do slightly different, I drilled the holes in the side of the bucket just below the lids. This prevents any standing water from dripping into the bucket, and stops debris falling in. Also leaves the lid so that I can place bricks or rocks on top so the wind doesn't blow them over if they have been emptied recently.
