@LiminaLux

Btw! There’s a few parts that just have still frames for a bit, this was the only way to work around copyright problems without working on it for another day :,D

@n.jsukitte9999

Arcane second season felt like...a fanfiction based on the first season, written by a die-hard LoL fan.

@Chartus-ij1rp

It lowkey pisses me off how they added so many side characters then proceeded to give them a maximum of two lines

@maddmira9888

Jinx was too sadistic and apathetic in her terrorism for her sudden soft change to be believable. She strapped a fake bomb to a guy cause she thought it was funny to see him think he was gonna die, knocked out and strung up Sevika who did nothing, all because she was mad at Silco for lying to her. Kidnapped Cait in the shower and just lacks general empathy for people. Them using a random child to soften her and form her into a sane, quirky anti-hero felt like gaslighting. What did that grandiose ending from season 1 of her embracing her identity of Jinx even mean?....

@nerdyfan21

I think season 2 actually genuinely hurt the 1st one. Idk it’s harder to appreciate a season that I already just liked but didn’t love when it’s followed up by whatever season 2 is.

@SaguntoYT

Arcane ended with Season 1. Period.

@adnnebs

The hole gets smaller is about loss. When you lose someone there is a hole in you heart but over time the hole will get smaller, pain will be easier but the hole will never completely disappear cause you’ll always miss the person you’ve lost.

@sersnuggles7697

30:55 I chocked when you said "Ambussy" XD That's so clever and out of pocket, brilliant!

@Of_infinite_Faith

Having isha, a small child, get mixed with politics and revolution and having it look like some heroic gesture comes across as rather problematic to me. What's worse is that she picked up her suicidal tendencjes from jinx! Who brought her to every dangerous location she went to like where she was shooting rockets at vi. Surely jinx the "genius" would think its unwise?
And her death is meaningless and pointless. Bc vander ends up surviving and the noxus army doesn't take much of a blow any way because they still start war.

@Pcaara

Im maybe a minute into the video and the sheer intensity of the way I felt seen when you said "I finished season 2 and had to go back to season 1 to check if it was my nostalgia" floored my ass. Because i literally had to do the same thing after how much I struggled to put a finger on why season 2 irked me.

This vid gon be good. Thank you in advance🙏

@sabrina0013

episode 7 actively pisses me off because it reminds you that the writers are fully capable of writing character-driven plots when they give themselves the space to. but we only get to see them do it for characters that literally don't matter? screw that

@KaelynRowk

I don't think we can call Ekko Vi's bestie, because they haven't seen each other since season 1... Ever. And even that was a brief 1day interaction

Heimnerdinger and Ekko were so promising in S1. In S2 I didn't even notice Heimnerdinger died because not a single character (including Ekko) acknowledged that 😩

Ekko/Pawder episode was beautiful, BUT I HAVE TO SAY it's so cringe to watch a visual adaptation of a fanfic. It has nothing to do with a plot, it has nothing to do with Jinx, it's... Just there for no reason

@EclipseVenexus

Arcane season 2 is really weird. Coming from someone who’s followed league lore since forever.

@I_have_Claws

Honestly, the more criticism I see season 2 getting the more comfortable I’m getting sharing my thoughts. I was really disappointed by the finale specifically Jinx’s arc. Like she went from holding a bomb in her hand ready to off herself to fully recovered in span of just 30 minutes. That’s not good writing. I really want to see someone make a video rewriting aspects of S2 so that maybe it could’ve lived up to S1. And also the feel of this season also felt different from S1 as well idk if it’s just me.

@DrasticallyDopeDragons

I agree with everything said here honestly, and I love Isha but this video really helped me see why I was so mad about her death specifically, and why it felt empty. Great videos, keep it up!

@ArcaneMelodies82

It would’ve been better if it was revealed in ACT III Isha was all in Jinx’s head, the gut punch to the audience knowing that Jinx’s mental fragility after losing Silco right after he called her perfect as she is,completely Accepting her & loving her as a daughter she accidentally killed him. Jinx would be at her most vulnerable. Right after she lays Silco to rest in the River and she needs someone the most at this point, conveniently Isha falls right into her lap. A manifestation of Powder. The last remnants of her innocence put into this cute kid. A younger sister to look after. Now in ACT III they reveal she never existed. They do a sixth Sense flashback of how events really played out with Isha and Jinx, we find out that it was Jinx at the checkpoint not Isha as we are shown, her sacrifice was seen from Jinx’s perspective. Vi never mentions her after Episode 6. Oh, I’m saying, would’ve fit her character a little more of her mental fragility creating in this imaginary sister, to cope with the loss of another dead father by her hand.

@Immisha_n

Very gentle rant

Yet. 37:05

As someone who spend month after final in rage and research.

It not a case. Case is. Riots fired plenty of writers from s1. And now it's clear that they were moving force of script.

I don't know what genius to blame for this decision but without writers like that all we can expect in future is beautiful animation from fortiche and more music montages.

@LegalMikel

and here I thought I was the only one. who thought that arcane should have ended in s1. I think I even put in my video essay as well 💀

@penguin_momo

Isha is a plot device not a character. She is like the wild rune, and like the black rose pit mel is thrown into.

She just forces character development on jinx that we dont get to see happen.

Also unpopular opinion, I HATED EPISODE 7. That was the moment I knew act 3 was cooked.

This season focused on shipping and spectacle way too much. Felt like a poorly written fanfic.

@Of_infinite_Faith

Season 2 was so bad, once the adrenaline wore off i thought "what the hell did i just watch" and im looking back on season 1 with less love now and noticing the plot holes.
I truly hate the fandom too, they completely either ignore the issues of writing and focus on half assed politics and morality (which they know nothing about) and their shipping is irritating because they use it to validate the show, but all the shipping is based on the fans delusions.
