@xlee_draws

I like to think that as time goes on,you attract an audience that relate with you. Like how most artists attract artists, so on so forth.

@E1Ns_

I'm genuinely here for the art guides and lessons, and so far I'm enjoying my stay and glad I found you're channel and to hopefully draw artworks myself some day soon ❤

@sanpuru1969

Skill and dedication is pretty much the baseline, with a lot beyond that indeed boiling down to luck (both in terms of if what you do is just naturally appealing to a wide audience, beyond the skill, plus algorithmic luck; and for videos, whether or not you're gifted with charisma and a pleasant voice). It gets me down when I come across abandoned YouTube channels which had very high content quality with relatively low follower counts. At least one moved on due to other life circumstances, but I have to imagine if he'd received more engagement, he probably would have found away to keep up with his video production.

@nanoskyy

this is very true, you don't catch every aspect the first time around on what they are creating and you dismiss it. But, when looking at it more deeply, there are some things that clicks which makes sense for their growth.

Also, like the vibe and idea of walk and talk pikat

@BlanekdCheque

Luck is for sure a component, but if you go through life blaming everything to luck then it’s not a very fun time. As the quote goes, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” You can’t force the algorithm to notice you, you can’t control random chance, but you can work and refine yourself to be the best that you can be. Work on what you can change, and try not to worry about what you can’t, since worrying about it doesn’t change it anyways.

@brown7180

relevance and knowing what people want is anothing big thing. Some of the content that consistently gets a lot of attention isn't nessecarily good but just appeals to human habits. Things like sensationalist new/yellow journalism, rage baits, click baits, etc tend to garner consitent attention regardless of the actual quality of content.

A relevent subject is one more people will care about and draw meaning from, and is more likely to be emotionally effective, prompting not just held attention but reoccurring engagement and even promotion.

It's a pretty cold and calculated way to look at it, but as far as what consistently brings in numbers, luck can get you in front of an audience, but luck won't keep it.

@everything-narrative

"I've been on my walks" yes, girl! So happy to hear you're taking care of yourself.

@InserteUsername

content creation is such an egotistic thing, im uploading things because i want them to watch ME, because im as good or better than anything else you could be doing rn, its something really interesting

@ЙирюВонаирда

Yeeeeeeeeeeah. Thats a thing in content creation. Not to mentioned a number of factors like lack of rationality in most people and things that they used to. How individuality loses to mass in terms of audience value and so on and so forth.
This is kinda twisted in itself so I hope people who struggle in content creation has something that back em up.

@Vismedalt

To be honest I am pretty close to giving up. I've worked on 15 indie comics books, done god knows how many events and i made less than 2000 pounds last year. Ai bloat has made what's already impossible even more so. What's worse is I can't even get a normal job because the UK economy is dead ... Sorry just needed to rant a little. I'm not saying this to be salty or anything, I'm just saying at this point a lot of people are having to stop not because they can't do the work but because there isn't any work.

@CharlotteStarlight

Second comment!!! 🎉🎉🎉 I think luck is very important but if people don't have passion for what they do in the long run they'll get bored and overwhelmed even if the content is entertaining for the audience

@Countryintd

As far as monster hunter if you're wondering you're niche, you probably sit somewhere between GaijinHunter and SDShepard.

Most people sit in the space near gaijinhunter meaning weapon guides and beginners content. There is the off shoot op build buld clickbait and tier lists that are saturated.

 However, the challenge content is relatively untapped. So when you made a tier list video mixed with challenge content it stood out. It wasn't the tier list to me it was the lack of challenge content presented in such a nice format. As much as I love SDShepard, his format is lacking even if his content isn't.

@TheLilPorkChop

o 3o those walks really get the noggin joggin eh?

@Firebirb23

Wow, i cant believe im the first one here, also i think that this is a very important thing to remember and i agree with your opinion.👍

@sakibrahman-ot7ck

I like pikat.She is entertaining and mature(33+ grandma😂{God I wish I had her Grandma emoji} )

@Cimaniny_

I miss pixel pikat

@Radientzone345

You fighting attention outside your niche too and it makes it seem more tasking but I would say to not reinvent the wheel…so some look up ideas of videos but “steal” from popular creators that catches your fancy.

@ymotle

Meanwhile me following 100 art content creators 😅 but true I gravitate my attention towards the 100.
