I am german and i never will forget the semi finals. we were at a greek restaurant and agreed to have an ouzo shot errytime germany scores..... next day i woke up at home and had to check if this really happened 😂

As a 2nd class of primary school, 8 year old German kid in 2014, I can indeed confirm that this was the best WC ever. Our local football clubs were FLOODED with kids even before the WC, all of school was just about Brazil for a month straight. 10 years later, I still remember the names of the players. I still remember ALL the cities with stadiums in Brazil.
