I am 63. I watched this movie in 1977 in Mumbai, India, with my college sweetheart, who later became my wife for 38 years, before she passed away. Everytime I hear this music, it refreshes my memories of the beautiful relationship we had throughout our lives.

I am a 53 year old Korean. I worked for 3 years in the Korean branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in my 30s. That's when I fell in love with a Vietnamese lady. However, we couldn't get married because of our families who opposed international marriage. I came back to Korea and lost contact with her. I haven't forgotten her and I'm not married yet. I miss her a lot these days. It's summer vacation now. I came back to Ho Chi Minh yesterday. Sitting in a coffee shop looking at the YOCO building where she worked. I was neighbors with Henri Mancini and family growing up. He bought the house in front of mines as a wedding gift to his son and new wife across the street from us in Santa Monica, California. I use to play with his grandson and grandkids. I never understood what a brilliant composer he was when I was a kid. Now at the age of 48 this song brings me back to the many memories of life. If you are all listening to his beautiful music today, give it a thumbs up for Henri Mancini!! His beautiful music will last beyond eternity.
