I DID NOT catch that when I played. If this is ground zero (for this specific city) it makes sense the Rat King is here. Whatever was in there had the longest time to mutate and transform into a nightmare

Did anybody realize the Rat king we fight as Abby it’s actually the first Rat king because Nora said ground Zero is where they brought the first infected so that means the first infected and some other infected joined together and created the first rat king in Ground Zero…

I loved how we went from semi-zombies to then full on Resident evil monsters and in lore it’s possible since it’s a fungus that literally lives inside the body

Is it just me or Abby’s missions were more fun and intense than Ellie…even the areas were better but Ellie did have good epilogue mission

First play through i wasn't expecting the rat king and when it did come inside the ambulance i had multiple heartattacks i paused the game and stopped playing the game for about 4 days until i mentally prepared myself to fight the damn thing 😂
