Bad dreams portend a horrific future wherein the world is ruled by a terrible, morosely dark version of our beloved son. The smartest and most collected among us suddenly seems to have gone completely insane. Our defining principles and the oath we swore to those we protect no longer matter. We can't even perform the simplest of tasks without screwing them up. So, because we are so angry, we must fight. We were manipulated into this position by the mentally ill. There is no real plan, no rhyme to, nor any reason for it. We remember our mothers and we cry in solemn solidarity. Nothing makes sense anymore. It just keeps getting more and more confusing and meaningless. Suddenly, the whole thing manifests as a giant, indefatigable shit monster that kills the last spec of joy left in our lightless world. Thank the gods my girlfriend was here to help me in my time of need. This is the world of BvSDoJ. It is also a metaphor for the dreadful experience of watching this movie. Wow... that's so meta. They made a movie that was a metaphor for itself!

"Do you want to make an abomination?" David Goyer asked Zack Snyder this, I hear, mere hours before shooting the first scene of BvS. What a $#!tpile! Good show guys. Keep fighting the good fight.
