For anyone who doesn’t agree with the genres, I went off of what Spotify considers these bands to be (spotify genre categories suck in general imo)

The list for the normal rock genre is even more abysmal lol

Edit: I used Spotify’s list because at the end of the day, it is what they consider hard rock/metal and I wanted to be accurate to the Spotify stats even if they’re questionable

Number 1 is not surprising, they have the perfect blend of pop/rock, simple song structures with catchy melodies.

I like how all bands represent 3 (or 4 depending) different eras:
70's: Led Zeppelin and ACDC
80's to early 90's: Gun N' Roses, Bon Jovi, and Metallica
mid-90's and/or 2000's: Rammstein, Linkin Park, System of A Down, Slipknot, and BMTH
