I think the dark world in the church will be darker and show the true nature of the dark worlds, which is why the characters colors are less charming and colorful

I always thought it was because she's colour-blind. We know dark worlds change based off the mind of the person who made them, so maybe the dark world characters look how susie sees them since she created it. So she appears orange rather than purple, and Ralsei also changes colour (their outift at least, cant remember which colour though)

I have SOME insight to share. In computers, Hue controls which color something is. Susie's new colors here are identical to if you hue shift her by +65. In the simplest terms, if you were to find each of Susie's colors on a rainbow and shift them to the right a bit, you'd get her new colors. Now, this COULD mean that Susie and Kris' colors are constantly changing, meaning we could get Blue Susie with Red eyes at –65 hue. But this is unlikely since they forgot to change the colors on Kris when Susie throws them. That means this isn't a visual effect, and their sprites are actually that color. Conclusion? This just means that Susie was hue shifted for absolutely no reason. Sorry, I can't help ya.
