Being half Japanese, I look years younger than I am. About 8 years ago, a woman asked me when my baby was due! I told her the truth, I have an illness that causes my stomach to be larger and rounder and out of proportion to the rest of my body. Not only was her question humiliating for me, but my answer to her embarrassed her. I’m sure she won’t make that mistake again.

Totally feel you on the "Are you Japanese?" comment. I get that all the time...especially growing up in the US with Japanese parents and living in JPN for a while. And the comments would be from both non-Japanese people and Japanese people..all in person though. Thank you for addressing that! PS: Your eyelash game is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥and happy new year!

I suspect that putting a time stamp makes YouTube's analytics bots think they watched the video, so a way to avoid being discovered as a bot. I've even seen a time stamp at a time longer than the video itself.😂

I found my way here via Gochi Gang after my obsession with Japan (especially the food) hit new levels after visiting in 2019 just when the sakura were everywhere in Tokyo. This was so funny and enjoyable. Every video she does is really a bit of sunshine and it’s pretty cold out, so that’s cool. I’ve seen these bots everywhere too, I’ve actually had them replying to comments I’ve left on really obscure small channels, whatever that says. Encouraging some comments about what is going on is probably very helpful. Respect.

Interesting how several of the bots used the exact same string of emojis. Also, the "ding ding" you used in this video sounded exactly like my doorbell! It freaked me out a couple of times.
