@MathewMcKenna

hope ur ready for some more đź’™

@Counterpoint-

1: All the songs ARE written by The Living Tombstone

2: Charlie’s dad is actually Lucifer. Alastor hates him most likely just cause he’s more powerful. This is also why he talks about being hurt by Heaven, and why he says, “From the big boss of Hell itself,” cause he IS the boss of hell

Edit: Since a lot of people are seeing this now- I just wanna say the part about Alastor is my theory on the reason. People in the replies have given some very good alternatives too though!

@ley5532

Its so funny Alastor doesn't actually see Charlie as a daughter but since Lucifer insulted the Hotel and tried to outshine Alastor, Alastor knew where to hit him where it hurts so him pretending to be Charlie's "dad" is him just fucking with Lucifer for fun! Haha

@mh56487

Yea so Charlie's dad isnt a sinner, hes literally Lucifer Morningstar. That means hes a fallen angel and is the king of hell. This also means that Charlie was born and has grown up in hell as its princess (her mother is Lilith, the first woman). If you look at Lucifers design youll see a lot of apple symbols and the 6 wings look like those of a lot of angels.

All sinners are dead humans who went to hell. They visually look very different from each other (often having animal aestehtics and wearing clothes from the time perdiods they were alive in), every cast member except Charlie and Vaggie is a sinner. The other hellborn people are the imps (thats what the Helluva boss cast are) and hell hounds (Like Loona from helluva boss).

@tisi808

The voice actor for Lucifer is Jeremy Jordan who also voiced Varian in Tangled: The series!! He is amazing

@elsal1353

08:42 The reason why Charlie is so upset about Vaggie being an angel is because she wasn't just ANY angel. She was an exorcist, which means she was one of the angels that participated in the extermination. She's killed thousands of Charlie's people.

@VocalLizard

Fun fact, in "Hell's Greatest Dad" you noticed the "Devil Went Down to Georgia" reference, but if you didn't know, Lucifer (Charlie's Dad) as originally headcanoned to have Weird Al voice him! Thats why he pulls out an accordian after Al's bit with the Piano

@amarvelousgeek222

Charlie's dad is Lucifer, the original fallen angel and the King of Hell. That's why Charlie is so Disney Princess-esque- she's literally the Princess of Hell.

This whole song is just
"Take that, depression!"

@AntoinesCorner

I absolutely adore that Charlie has the personality of a Disney princess while dating a character who voiced a Disney character.

@SWTobito0702

It's amazing how you managed to listen to lines such as "boss of hell itself" "with the punch of a pentagram" and "true angelic power" not to mention the apple and snake ornaments on his head and not make the connection that Charlie's dad might be Lucifer.

@smallbitterman

“Why does this feel like it’s made by The Living Tombstone”

Well it’s funny you should say that Mathew….

@lizard1255

So a couple things that are explained in episodes:

The reason for the extermination is not because of overpopulation. That's the "excuse" given. It's because Hell rebelled and they want to stop that from happening again. So Adam suggested the exterminations. No one in heaven knows about them except Adam, Sera, and the exorcists. Until that song anyway.

The song with Carmilla and Vaggie is a bit weird without visuals. They are not in the same place, but just singing at two different places at the same time. Just talking about similar things about different people. Vaggie about Charlie, and Carmilla with her family, Zestial, and hell.

Charlie is a hell born and not a sinner. So she hasn't done anything to be sent to hell just was born there. Most other characters you see are sinners who have done something to be sent there, hence needing to be redeemed.

Charlie's parents are Lucifer and Lilith. Lilith is human and Lucifer is a fallen angel. So yes her dad is an angel, just not part of heaven anymore.

Alastor is very much intended to give off the vibes that you can't be sure whether to trust him or not. He has so far given no genuine reason for wanting to be there, wanting to help, or what he's been up to prior. So we don't know whether he just wants to help or if he's more likely trying to get Charlie to make some sort of deal with him to get control over her. He totally wanted to fuck with Lucifer though by calling himself Charlie's father.

@sophiathefirstofall

charlie's dad is actually lucifer (so he is technically an angel) and he's also voiced by the same guy that voices varian from the tangled series (jeremy jordan)

@bulletsandbracelets4140

"If hell is forever then heaven must be a lie" is probably one of the most incredible lines I've ever heard. I love this show so much

@Juliebrose16

Petition to get Mathew to watch the episodes!!!!

@christinehurley2487

The last one ending with Mimzy coming out of nowhere and interrupting was purposely so that neither Alastor or Lucifer could end the song and "win" leaving it as an ongoing battle instead

@carefreesloth

"he's not an angel is he" he's lucifer. man's is THE fallen angel

@aoiterasu

Fun Fact for those who don't/may not know, Lucifer is voiced by the GOAT himself Jeremy Jordan (also voices Varian from Tangled the Series; the main character in the pretty well-known song "Ready as I'll Ever Be")

@chriskoloski32

The show was advertised as a musical. There are 2 songs every episode
