Armin is emotional because the crowd in Romania then reminds him of the Netherlands of the 90's he grew up in. Every Dutch person misses that energy, love and unity.
Only True EDM fans will cry for some music although it doesn’t have any lyrics, because the song touches us in a way we can’t explain
As an American who in a former life did his fair share of partying around the globe, NO ONE can compare to central/eastern Europeans in how they enjoy dance music. This crowd is but one example of many ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Being from New Zealand this type of music just doesn't exist in my generic culture. People here don't even know who Armin Van Buuren is, although he has been my music idol for about a decade. I am yet to meet someone who understands the emotional complexity that comes with engaging in a genre like trance. To me, this music is soul touching at its purest form.
Armin is Boss! Loved trance since I was 17 (34 now). But, being black in Brooklyn-NYC, I don't have many ppl who are trance addicts like me🎶
It's depressing to see people asking why he was crying, If you can't see or understand why then you don't know the power of music
Armin reveals the reason for crying at Untold Romania 🇷🇴 Festival. It is really amazing. The trancemaster teared up again when talkshow host Eva Jinek finally asked him about the reason of his emotional outbreak, earlier this month at Romania’s Untold Festival. “I simply have the best possible job in the world! It was 8:30 in the morning and 62.000 people just kept on dancing to my set. It literally brings me to tears when I see what music does to people. There were three girls standing front row, waving their flags, and one of them burst into tears with almost every tune that I played. At one point I thought: please stop crying, because you are going to make me cry as well! And so it happened…” Thank you very much Mr van Buuren. Hope to see you again and again and…forever!
So many nationalities gathered. Under many flags. United by one thing. The love of music and experiencing it together with other people. Not by politic, not by religion. Just amazing to see this in contrast to all the dark shit that goes on in the world.
Did you see what I saw? No one is holding there smart phones up recording the set! There just there enjoying the show and dancing! That’s the true power of trance! It shakes you to the core and you want to absorb everything as long as you can.. (*edit*: 920 likes! I’m just amazed at the number of likes I got from a simple observation, but the truth of the matter is it doesn’t matter if you record a set or not, my true comment was just saying how powerful trance is! Viva la trance! Thank you a trance fan in northwest Arkansas, Joseph!*)
This is one of the most beautiful moments in the history of electronic music.
You don't HEAR trance... You FEEL it!! <3
People in Romania knows how to party and enjoy one of the best DJ in the world. Greetings from USA.
This is the face of a TRUE artist, with TRUE fans, with a REAL connection with them and a REAL passion for his work.
When a DJ is crying at his work, because of the reaction of the crowd he is playing for, he is connected emotionally to that crowd. Not a thing you see a lot these days.... #KingOfTrance
