I liked the 1st house more. Lovely floors, nice kitchen anx bedrooms. I can compromise on the closeness to neighbours and size

I guess I have way different tastes for a second home- the idea is to be cozy, close to the fun and out of doors. Bedrooms are for sleeping. Bathrooms can be shared and living can be indoor and out

If you’re buying on the beach, expect to buy expensive substandard housing. None of those houses were very good. Vacation home, yes but full time living? Absolutely not.
